Black Rapid Lightweight Series Strap

I have used my previous Rapid Strap for many years but it was getting ragged and no long available to repurchase. The BlackRapid Lightweight Series is notably lighter and cooler around my neck. Somehow it doesn?t feel as secure although I have fastened my dslr to the side ring rather than at the base. I dislike having to unscrew it just to fasten to my tripod/monopod. It works.
