Printer is not working. LCD flashing continuously. About 2 years old. Printed less than 2,000 pages. Call Brothers about the problem. Cost $85 for diagnostic check. Parts and labor will be $150+ Cost of new printer is cheaper. Disappointed with product. Will not buy from Brothers again.

Good copy quality. works for normal copying operations. But, extremely difficult to set up from the display. Instructions are confusing, and not intuitive. I bought it as a replacement for Brother DCP2540 model. I will not recommend this product.

I installed Chrome OS flex on a 20 year old laptop. works fast and flawlessly, but doesn't automatically recognize many printers and with my other printers, even after a manual generic install, not all functions are available and the wifi connection is unreliable. I was pleasantly surprised that this Brother printer, even if a few years old, was instantly recognized and installed easily via wifi with one click. All functions work flawlessly and the wifi connection has remained reliable. Good multifunction printer, simple to install and operate and fast printing.

This is a workhorse printer - highly suggest it! This is the second of this model that I've had. It's a great printer for my home use. Great quality, easy setup and use, and lots of options available for connection, print format, and sharing.

I have been used many different printer brands in the market. I used to print text books for graduate classes or files as a tax office owner. Eventually only Brother printers are the most reliable, and the last to survive while others were gone. My current office in accounting department of a corporate is also a Brother. Cannot say all the pros of Brother printers. However, there's some cons every one uses it should know: It takes a little longer to start every time you print and it needs to reset the drum every time you has to replace it. These cons are so little anyway!

Have had this printer for about a year of home use. It works great with Windows connected via cable Fast, clear print and low cost toner. Would buy again. I have had problems with wireless use on a Win 11 notebook connecting via WiFi. Got help from brother and was finally able to connect and print. Quiet, large try for holding paper.

I have had very little trouble with this printer. Main problem is that it rerport insdie jam when there is no jam. Scanner works very well.

We love this printer except for the on/off button which isn't "positive." Sometimes hard to tell if the printer is on or not. Otherwise GREAT--fast and quiet!

Have had the DCP-L2540DW 2-3 years. Worked fine with laptop with Windows 10. Recently purchased new laptop with Windows 11. Installed driver using disc. When "print" is selected there is no option for duplexing. Need this paper saving and space (thickness) saving feature.

My copier was just over 1 year old ( I bought a year warrantee on it when it started turning off every time i powered it on. I tried evrything to get it out of sleep mode but nothing works!!

We cannot tell you if it is good or not as it won't load onto the computer. The printer loads and works but the scanner does not. Had two different techs out and they say it is a product problem. There are two other people living near me who are having the same problem. I bought the printer through Amazon and am wondering I do I return to you for repair or replacement for something that does work.

I would give a 5 Star rating but I am having difficulties making my scanner work because I am not an IT wizard. The Brother Tech Support has been fantastic. I will be happy when I get my printer scanner working.

Love my 3 in one brother machine. My husband use it when he works from home. We can send documents via wifi using the laptop also. I recommend this printer for your home office it will work like the one you use at your regular office.

I love this printer. After years of problematic inkjet printers I finally tried this one that uses toner. I have connected to my laptop with the wireless connection and it works perfectly...Every Time! It was very easy to connect. So far, it's the perfect printer. I haven't used the fax option so I cannot comment on it, but the printing and scanning have been absolutely perfect!

I bought this printer in February for myself since I do a lot of woodworking, I can scan patterns and print them and it saves me a lot of ink by using the black toner cart. I also use it to print reports since I am on a church board. I have it wifi'd so I can use it from any computer or tablet or phone in the house.

Have used the machine for several weeks. No problems. Prints fast producing a great printed page. Only issue I have had is learning to start the printer when it has been in "deep sleep" state. Had to shut down the entire system and restart. This solved my problem. I believe the Wifi was the real issue in this case, not the printer.

Prior to picking this printer up, I have been a long time Canon printer user. I was looking for a printer that offers basic quality printing with scanner AND ease of multiple devices connection preferrably without the cumbersome wire. After a few search and while there are plenty out there that pretty much offer the same features that I was looking for, I settled for this model for the price. Boy, sure glad I made the right choice. Has been extremely happy with this model. Had a little bit of a challenge with the initial setup and wireless connection but it was more on my part. Once all that was done, I have not experienced any issues. I can connect all of my devices including my phone and Samsung Tablet to this printer and can print literally from anywhere within the house.

I bought this printer to help ease the household workload. I am a graphic designer, my wife is a school teacher, and I have a daughter in the 11th grade. We need to print all the time from multiple devices. I saw this printer and it had it everything we needed --- including Airprint --- to get us through a typical day. Set up was easy and printing is fast. The scanner is decent for a built in scanner and handles my wife's and daughter's needs as well as 90% of my scanning needs. I have only two real complaints: First --- though the printer prints on legal (8.5 x 14 paper, it does not duplex. I was very dissappointed in that. Second --- if we go a couple of days without using the printer it drops off the network. I haven't experienced it from my MacBook Pro or connected device, but my wife says her work issued MacBook Pro sometimes has problems printing even though it still shows up on the network. However, all I have to do is to power down and restart the printer.
