Have had this for several years and it has never failed to provide a great scan of a variety of different items. This includes pictures, documents, and register receipts.

The Software for this product used to be simple and elegant, which was perfect for scanning on the go. Now it's convoluted and unwieldy. Would've recommended this product heavily when I bought it. Would not recommend it now.

This scanner has made working at home so much easier! I recently discovered that there is option to create a multiple page PDF file scan which is a game changer! I like that it you can hook it up as needed and then its small enough to store in my desk drawer until I need it again. This is a game changer!

I spent three hours with brother support and he tried everything and we gave up. I spent an hour with apple help, same story. it scans but the document cannot be moved onto my imac desktop. all controls are dead.

The scanner is small portable shareable and inexpensive. I like the way it allows continuous scanning with the adjustable 30 second interval allowed to get your next document inserted. I don't need to merge documents for what I am doing but I am sure I could create a multi page document if I needed to. Great for what I am doing, attaching Vendor invoices in quick books.

It's out of warranty now. Light use, kept in the dust-free bag when not used. This machine shouldn't have quit.

Product was easy to install and use. I even have it setup in Lunix and had no issues with doing that either. I like the small footprint.

I've had mine for about 6 months. Although i haven't used it a lot it has been very responsive and accurate in my opinion. So far I've only scanned document and receipts but this has been great for me so far.

Works great for scanning business cards to Outlook, which is what I needed it for. Great customer service from Brother when the software CD went missing after an office move.

I do a lot of ancestry research. This scanner is amazing when it coms to scanning documents. It does not work so great on photographs - but letters, documents, receipts etc - it can't be beat. It sits out of the way on my desk and travels well.

This scanner was perfect for my needs. Portable and only required a USB connection. Then one day, perhaps after a Windows update, Windows sees it as a removable drive. NOTHING on Brother's site or through Google searches gives any indication of a solution. Tried on 2 separate Win10 computers that I had previously used the scanner with and neither detects the camera properly

This is the worst scanner I have had the pleasure of using. Because this is provided by my employer I have no choice but to use it. However I cuss it every time. It jams often when scanning, the plug does not stay connected.

I love this scanner. The scan quality is great, it is very easy to set up and use, and the save options (including multi-page PDF, which is my favorite are very useful. I have a flatbed scanner, but it is bulky and not portable. With this, I get the same image quality and functionality, but portability as well.

Having used Pentax / Brother mobile scanners for the past 11 years I have found them to be difficult at best to use. Between Microsoft updates and poor drivers from Brother and lack of support I would not bother to replace my current scanner with a Brother product. I'm not sure what the solution is but I refuse to add to the problem with another product from Brother.

I have the Brother DSmobile 620 on my mac. When my mac OS recently updated, I had to update my brother software and unfortunately, the new version is tedious and almost painful to use. I want to scan receipts and I'd like each receipt to be named appropriately by store name. The URL box to change my filename isn't long enough to easily get to the filename at the end. Brother's recommendation is to scan all of my documents and then go to finder and rename each file. How cumbersome is that? Although the previous version of this software had a few persnicketies, it allowed me to change the file name EASILY with each document that was scanned. Please bring back the user friendly version. At this point, I'm barely utilizing this printer because the software is much too cumbersome. And also, please update your user manual online.

This scanner was very disappointing. I bought it to scan family photos. It worked beautifully at first, but lines and streaks soon appeared that could not be fixed with calibration or cleaning. Customer support had no suggestions besides those two options, rendering the device useless.

I am so disapointed and let down, and suprised!! i have always used Brother products, and I have used for personal and bussiness and I have NEVER had a problem with any of them before this scanner. I'm sorry to have to tell you that I'm so very let down.

Does just what I bought it to do, scan and send. Takes very little space to store between occasional uses. Easy to set up, even for a Luddite, with Brother's helpful-as-usual customer service.

Super little laser printer! Prints duplex, letter and legal sizes, toner is reasonable price, minimum 2600 pages per cartridge w/medium coverage, no problems! Only thing better would be if it scanned too!

Traveled all over with this and it worked great as a standalone scanner with my laptop. Downside - using it at home where I have a Brother multifunction print/copy/scan unit, the drivers compete with one another and one or the other never works right until you reload that driver.

I like the small size and easy-to-use features of the DS mobile 620 scanner. The info transfer quickly to my computer, where i can access the image and attach to an email.

Scanner is very handy and easy to use, I have no issues with it, easy scanning, can also make one PDF file of several pages, capable of scanning pages up to 16 inches in length.No external power needed just connect with the laptop or PC with USB cable.
