Very poor performance of machine , it broke down after a few months of use and very poor service on new one.

I hardly used this machine for a few months when it went out of order following a power surge. I called "Brother"to find out who in my area could repair it but it was impossible to find this information.It is almost impossible to get a live person to help.I do not intend to buy Brother products in the future.

good idea to discontinue this useless piece of junk it worked a total of 4 times.now it just says paper jam even when there is no paper in it, if you coax it long enough, it will send a fax, but it wont print, making it useless for receiving a fax, complete waste of money

Replacing this machine/phone with an identical one. Had problems getting to a usable place and had to contact customer service. Don't know if fax is working as it should be due to not receiving any faxes outside of those sent by Brother rep. Had to register on line; however machine still says not registered. No complaints about the phone; it works perfectly. Numbers on phone have large buttons and are easy to see & use.

The product is reliable. Easy to use. Great performance for a very reasonable price. I am glad I bought it and use it a great deal. Price was excellent. Bought at Best Buy which had it at a low price.

I purchased the FAX-575 to replace a Panasonic machine I have used since 1994. This fax machine works ok and gets the job done, but I have a learning curve since the controls are different. Overall for what time I need a fax, it serves the purpose.

I made a mistake in buying this unit. Though the support from Brother was great, the unit is rather cheap and I should have paid more attention. You get what you pay for.

I needed an efficient and inexpensive fax machine. And the FAX575 was the one for the me. It more than does the job and I am totally satisfied.

I found myself spending $1.05 per page for off-site faxing. I found this machine at Best Buy at a wonderful price even with a refill toner. Within the first 2 weeks, it has more than paid for itself. I rarely receive anything but do send quite a bit.

I tried to fax once, and it stunk, so I bought a better fax machine. It's been sitting in my garage gathering dust since the day after I received it in the mail. I bought a Brother Intellifax 2840, and it was way better. No comparison!

Changing refill roll# PC-402F is not easy.Cannot tell which side of roll is the correct side.both sides are shiney.Please put a sticker on the side that should be up! Can unwanted calls be blocked?

We just wanted a simple FAX machine to receive and send FAX's from our home office. This is very basic and easy to use. We have one phone line and have it on a switch box that we can flip between our phone and the FAX. If we answer the phone and hear a FAX tone, we flip the switch to FAX. Or if we want to send a FAX, same thing, flip the switch. Flip it back to phone when finished. It comes with a starter cartridge so I recommend buying a back-up cartridge soon after you get the machine. The cartridges are big and expensive, but they last a long time. I wouldn't recommend this machine if you have a heavy volume of FAX traffic, but it's great for light duty.

I had been looking for a fax machine for quite some time. I was looking for a fax machine that I could use at home for personal correspondence. When I found the Brother Fax-575, it was just what I was looking for, small, easy to use and it was easy to set up. I would definitely recommend this model.

My FAX-575 has been a great support tool for my small business. When I did have an issue (utilization a customer service representative was very helpful with solving my delimma. My machine has been truly dependable and I actually will be using it again tonight.

This is one of the best investments I've made lately. Recently I was made the executor of my mother's out of state estate. After I realized our all-in-one machine didn't have a fax I purchased this Brother stand alone. Hooked it up to the VOIP phone line and since I've had to send many faxes. Never an issue - always works- everything I need. Great stuff!

It was so small and inexpensive I was not sure it would work for me. But, it works like a charm. I am happy I purchased it ! I would recommend to a friend. It is compact and very functional.

I purchased this Brother Fax copier, as an in expensive way just to fax and receive faxes. It has performed exceedingly well, with no issues. I only called Tech.Support at Brother to do an initial set-up and to receive a fax from them. I would recommend this product.
