Imagine it: rather than spending half the shooting schedule setting up and packing down, you could use the Canon C50 with our NATO Top Plate. The whole camera setup could fit in a tote bag, and is light enough to carry around your neck with some handy QD sockets. And for additional accessory mounting, use the integrated NATO Rail or Filler Piece covered in accessory threads to quickly and conveniently build out your rig.

Pocket-Sized Productivity
As cameras become smaller, it ironically becomes harder to shoot with them. If you need a complex C50 rig with a lot of accessories, then the NATO Top Plate is your best friend. Featuring an array of mounting options including a Cold Shoe mount, MAP M4 points on the top and side, QD sockets, a NATO rail and the standard 1/4" and 3/8" anti-twist points; the Top Plate is your go-to option for rigging real-estate.

Secure Rigging
There's nothing worse than an unreliable mount: the discomfort of watching your expensive hardware wobble in place, no matter how hard you tighten it. The C50 Top Plate not only keeps your gear secure - with anti-twist points for each screw thread and easy-press safety stops on the NATO rail - but also mounts securely to the camera itself via the 1/4" handle mounting points.

Stripped Back in Seconds
But when the brief doesn't call for a bulky rig, you can downsize the C50 Top Plate. For a convenient NATO rail and selective mounting options, simply remove the Filler Plate from the Top Plate. This gives you full access to the Canon camera's multifunction shoe mount: perfect for external microphones.

Note: For use with the stock Canon C50 Top Handle, you will require the separate Canon C50 Handle Top Plate.

Compatibility
The Canon C50 NATO Top Plate is compatible with the Canon C50 only: the plate's mounting threads are designed to match those on the camera body. The removeable Filler Plate is also designed to fit only this camera system.

C50 users with the stock Canon C50 Top Handle will require the separate Canon C50 Handle Top Plate, as this Top Plate mounts to the same threads as the Handle.
