This computer has hurt me since before I received it
The order was not able to be stopped. The machine came late. it is too large to fit in my briefcase and I had to buy a new bag. I have to sit stiffly upright to se it or I get excruciating pain on my wrists due to the sharp and high front edge. Am I being forced into buying peripheries? Forget this machine.

HP Omnibook Page 1
For the most part was fairly simple. There is a problem with the task bar not always working when I click on the app and also that it does not even show up sometimes on the second screen. I did not experience any problems during setup.

New laptop
Learning about this laptop.
Not very tech savvy - so learning about the new computer will take rine.
Previous laptop have programs already set up with the icons shown.
This laptop is now doing more research.

Everything I expected
A strong processor with 32 RAM and 2TB ssd storage gave me all I need. The price was very reasonable and it should give me the capacity to handle increased demands created by the growing world of AI.

Not too Old to Learn Using My Omnibook
Set-up was easy; all the info I needed to be up and running quickly was readily available. Keyboard keys much easier to read than previous HP laptops. Very nice display. This is a quick, easy to use laptop that offers me all the features I need to continue to keep up with the latest technology. I am 69 years old and looking forward to expanding my knowledge of AI and other capabilities my Omnibook has to offer.

Speedy is not the word I would use
It is a windows machine so expected 3 year maximum life but 1 month into use it is moving so slowly expected life is down to 6 months.

No Quality Control. Defective product
The laptop was defective, any movement would cause apps to crash. They offered to replace it, but I would need to purchase it and would get credit when the defect one was returned and inspected. Unacceptable.

For Senior Citizen
Really great!! Easy setup, had IT person move all. Good battery, holds well. I'm a senior citizen (83) so it's not work use, please. Love it. Love touch screen, didn't think I would. Great! Use all HP

Great Laptop
The process for putting together the best configuration for my needs was simple. The corporate discount through my employer created a very reasonable price. Delivery took a while but well worth the wait, the laptop is beautiful and works great!

New Laptop Experience
Mostly solid system which was the most important thing. Had problems with some web sites not working due to an Intel driver needing to be disabled. Hard to know whose responsibility that was - HP or Windows. Laptop comes with multiple HP apps without explanation of purpose and ready to annoy with popups. Didn't really care for the trial apps preloaded either. Also, didn't care to find out the system was built in Vietnam and shipped via China. A month waiting for laptop configuration was a bit much.

Had to replace an older unit, HP pulled the old bait and switch "discount" so I pulled the trigger. System is ok, not slow, not fast, decent for browsing. You can't use foul language while using the lame AI assistant which blows. Never use the touch screen, like the back lit keyboard for nocturnal use. Frankly I barely see a difference between this unit and the 12-year-old laptop I replaced. The old unit was too old to update and started going wonky. Trailer Park Boys on Netflix kept dropping and that was its undoing. A person needs to draw the line somewhere. So, if you are in the market for a middle of the road, run of the mill machine, by all means drop $650.00 on this thing. All hail the Flying Spaghetti Monster...Ra-men.

Absolutely zero buyer's remorse
I'm so glad I chose to buy an Omnibook. It is up to date, user friendly, and more than adequate for my computing needs. I would have preferred fingerprint verification rather than facial recognition, but that is really very minor and inconsequential to the Omnibook's performance.

Love the laptop, hate the new Windows
Light and fast. Only problem I have is adjusting settings in Windows 11. Not HP's fault. I've worked in Windows since the beginning. I've worked with MS-DOS. At 72 I don't have the patience to relearn a new system which should be getting easier to use.

Worth the price
Great computer, fast processor, lightweight. I know most people are not looking for this, but I wish it had a CD/DVD drive. Since it doesn't come with a user's manual, it took me about three weeks to figure out how to turn on the keyboard backlighting. I'm old school and like to read and refer to it in the early days of ownership. Set up was quick and easy, it was the first time I had ever done it myself. I use it for board work and shopping. So far, so good!

HP was the only one with 17inch screen that I trusted. Color graphics & sound tops the line. Computer was quick right out of the box (Microsoft not so much) about the only thing missing and the only reason not 5 stars is no back lighting on the keyboard.

Worth the extra to upgrade
I needed to replace my broken Pavillion. I really don't need everything this laptop offers but for a little extra I stepped up to this one. They do offer more powerful units, but this is more than enough for me now that I'm retired and just taking care of my day-to-day needs. If you have the means, I recommend this laptop.

Very Large and Heavy
The laptop is nicely designed and fast and efficient. I use it for music production so I don't mind the large bulky presence of it but if you're looking for something more size friendly, this isn't the device for you.

Been an HP fan since 1991
This is my 5th HP computer. '91 was a 386 SX-16 and then a few laptops over the years - the older laptop from '14 still works; that's impressive! The original battery is still alive...
What I don't like is the overly sensitive "rocker" as opposed to the older L/R buttons on the touch pad. Also there's something I've NEVER seen before...the up/down page ?? buttons are wonky - some web pages scroll just fine and some "page up - page down", NOT scroll; that's a time eating pain.
It does boot fast though....wow! Windows 11 is NOT intuitive - 10 was easy to figure out in just a few hours..not HP's fault. Overall I'd buy another one.
