If you're looking for an easy setup, consistent wireless connection, fast printing, and a feeling of true ownership of a printer?this printer is for you. After the misery of an hp printer (the bondage of the toner subscription, it working when it felt like it), I resolved to get a Brother printer after learning the general consensus that they offer reliable, long lasting printers. This printer was a cinch to connect to my MacBook, iPhone (for AirPrint), and work Dell laptop. It printed a 116 manual in less than 5 minutes (double-sided). This is a business printer, but I bought it for personal use. I haven't tried to use it for envelope printing or anything outside of 8"x11" paper, but I vow to update this review should I find any fault in doing so.

It's so heavy it was a struggle to get this big thing in the house I should have been quick to get a smaller one but nope out on luck and. Now I have a big printer that dont need

Really good brand reputation, extremely fast and clear printing. Light weight and not extremely big for how heavy duty it is! Would be nice for it to come with a little starter ink and paper to rest it out.

I have always had an inkjet printer but man this brother laser printer is so fast. The quality is good as well. This is a mono printer so if needing color this isn't for you.

I have purchased the last 2 printers total in my life for study and work but none of them were awesome like this one. I'm very impressive how fast it prints, fast like the big ones that usually cost a lot at my company. Super easy to install; instructions come with the printer is just straightforward and clear and simple. I love the idea of having the app connecting with the printer as well. I can print pretty much anything on my phone without having to get up and turn on my computer. I can also check the ink level and buy supplies if needed on the app. It only allows to print in black & white which is pretty much most people need because color inks are not so affordable to use frequently anyway. The features I wish it came with are copying and scanning, which I thought the extra tray was for but me and my husband had explored for couple days, looked for instruction but we didn't see they mentioned about those functions. But anyway, I could scan documents on my phone and print so it's not a big deal! Overall, for the prices and its quality, I would highly recommend this one to anyone that looking to buy a printer. This was extremely easy to unbox and set up. The set up was quick and simple. I was able to set up my WiFi connection easily. The print quality is great and prints fast. This is a perfect printer to use in your home. It can only print in black and white. I definitely recommend this one.
