I have had so many issues with the print quality. I have gone through cleaning the head and print quality tests and print quality improvements multiple times. I have also reset the whole machine couple of times but this issue keeps coming up. I don't print a lot, maybe 5-10 pages a month. I am using original Brother Ink cartridges.

My last Brother All in One machine lasted for 15 years of faithful hard use, and vastly exceeded all reasonable expectations for how many pages were printed. The print head finally clogged up and would no longer clean (although I intend to take it apart and try before I give that machine an honorable burial). Because it was such a fine workhorse, I purchased this model to replace it quickly, and so far it has not disappointed me at all. It was very easy to set up without even glancing at instructions, it easily connected to my computer and internet, and the controls are delightfully user friendly. So many new products are badly programmed, poorly designed, and fail to show improvement over older models, but not this one. The resolution when scanning and copying is crystal clear even on standard. The fax works like a dream. And printing is super fast - while most machines are still thinking about reacting to the command, this one has already spit out a beautiful copy! It takes up very little space in my busy office, yet has a large ink reservoir and holds a respectable amount of paper. If the performance so far is any indication, this machine is promising to by my new favorite workhorse for many years. Nice job, whoever designed this machine!

I have went through so of the worst printer issues for a number of years. (thinking the Printer Companies need to be investigated for inferior products) THEN, I got the Brother MFC-J4335DW all in one. It was easy to set up, the ink lasts longer, and prints beautifully and it even Automatically Cleans the printer heads every so often. (you heard me right .... Automatically) So far so good and time will tell if this printer is worthy. For right now, I'm a happy customer.

Every second or third print, I have to realign the printer head and clean the head nozzles. It can't print vertical straight lines without them jumping back and forth.

Decent Printer. Might require certain Technical steps to use machine with Windows 11. To turn off Printer you need to push two buttons. Too many clicks to save a scan. Otherwise good machine.

Machine printed once and changed to a fax only mode. Will not print at all and there seems to be no way to change this. No help on Brother support site.

This printer is simple, easy to install, and produces good looking documents. However, the design of the printed page holder is really poor, After printing the pages are ejected onto this anemic little piece of plastic that is neither long enough or wide enough to hold the paper. I finally removed it and placed a small plastic tray in front that holds an 8 1/2 X 11 sheet. I am at a loss as to why this page holder is so poor. I have owned many Brother printers and this is the first one with this problem. I don't consider this defect to be serious, but it is irritating.

We've been buying only HP printers for decades, but have had problems with our newest one only after a few years. It would tell us to replace cartridges sometimes only a few weeks after one was replaced, and we don't print many pages anymore, and we only used genuine HP cartridges. Worse, if if thought any color cartridge was empty, it refused to print anything, even black and white documents. The above, and HP's heavily pushing subscriptions caused us to look for another brand. The Brother printer was easy to setup and to use, including printing via my phone and tablet. So goodbye HP and a welcomed hello to Brother!

Good Printer. Took a little while to get used to it. I have had if for a year and thus far it works fine. I like the fact that I can print on two sides. The print color is good and the larger ink cartridges with fewer changes is a big help. I was surprised by the huge file size this printer took up....It is one if the largest files on my computer 1.16 GB. The scanning process is a bit more complicated than with my previous Dell and on this printer the ingoing and outcoming pages come out on top of one another which is a bit awkward. Overall a good printer....time will tell ! Customer service is helpful but it takes a very long time to reach them. My average hold time has been around 40 minutes when I call.

Relatively fast for price point. Paper handling better than average; no paper jams so far. Stays connected to WiFi even after power outages, which eliminates a problem I often encountered with other brands. Fairly small footprint. This unit should be more than sufficient for home office use.

I was a bit skeptical at first. I have been an HP printer user for years. We started having all kinds of issues with my wife's HP 6600 WiFi connection and getting ink that would work. I was pleasantly surprised when I received this printer. It was easy to set up and prints WAY faster that the HP. Print quality is great for what she needs.The ink replacement is a lot cheaper as well. I'll buy another one for my office when my HP 6968 craps out.

I found it weird that I had to run the wire from my computer into the middle of the device. It's annoying when I shut it off it has to clean out any Fax data when I haven't used the Fax. I don't know how to do 2 sided scanning and I don't know how many pages I can scan at one time. I tried to print a document from a PDF program and nothing happened. I had to click on the Brother Print Icon to get it to print a page.

Printer is already barely working. Takes 5 minutes to print one sheet. Sounds like a dying cat or something. Will no longer print double sided, jams every time. Have only owned the printer for 2-3 months. From what I saw, it appears the warranty is only valid in Canada.

I especially like the printer's ability to print on both sides without having to print one side and then reinsert copies for the other side. Looks like I'm also getting lots of use out of the ink supply.

This is the first printer I've owned that just works. Easy setup, and then all you have to do is hit "print " and a perfectly fine page comes out the first time, no need to even get out of your chair. I recommend it highly. The only downside is that Brother's marketing department is kind of needy with requests for feedback.

I purchased this brother printer about 4 months ago. Mid-April one of the ink cartridge printer heads failed and could not detect my cartridge. It kept telling me to insert the cartridge when it was already inserted. Called Brother customer service; we did a little troubleshooting over the phone, but nothing worked. I thought i was stuck with a large paperweight. But then the Brother representative confirmed that it was under warranty and they arranged to ship a replacement printer to my house, free of charge! And i didn't have to ship the broken one back!! I received regular email tracking updates and in less than a week, I received my replacement printer. Beyond thrilled with the customer service i received from Brother

the LED is so tiny that you need to get down to it's level to actually read instructions. Wireless continues to drop. General power failures reset everything - no self reconnect. LED instructions are not intuitive. Plastic paper drawer and paper shelf is filmize and close to worthless. Overall a 3 because the print quality is good. I dont anticipate buying another brother product.

Cannot figure out how to setup with laptop - can use the app on the laptop to print PDFs but cannot print in word or excel to name two examples. Instructions do not explain the full setup of the printer. Does not print document quickly which may speak to the thoroughness of the quality of the print job. BUT, when I want it to print a document, it starts the print right away. No testing of the printer every time I want to print, thereby delaying the start of the print job. Print quality is good.

The printer was an easy setup. The cartridges were simple to use and the software took very little time to set up. I think Borther made this set up effortless and helpful.
