Disappointed. Own a Brother 2360 for bookkeeping have had it for years. Purchased this for small medical office (one physician) began loud squeaking/grinding after 10 months. Service could not state a reason or solution other than replacing the drum (did that 2x) They replaced after 11 months. Now adding to the junk in our local landfill

The scan feature cannot differentiate different sized documents. Customer service was awful - bad attitudes and not knowledgeable on my printer which is driving my rating - printer itself is pretty decent

I purchased this legal platen printer scanner for my office a few years ago and no issues and I needed 1 for the home office and I purchased the same one I do scan lot of documents and it works well as is printing is easy. I do get legal documents and like to have the ability to scan not just from auto scanner. Easy to insall

Good fast printer, and very economical printing. Also scans, but having some trouble getting it to scan by feeder. A bit noisy when printing, so you need to be need to be mindful of that when you are on the phone. Just got it, chose it from among many others with same features.

We have several MFC-6700s in our offices. I like that I can still buy the same model now that we purchased six years ago (with some upgrades to the software. They work great for scanning to email, scanning to shared network folders, and printing. It's an excellent machine for medium sized office and needs no changes.

This is our 6th MFC & was great...until we went to Windows 10. We downloaded new drivers for it, but you lose features with Win 10. Ease of use is no longer there. Duplex printing is now cumbersome. Very disappointed.

The speed is fairly good. The scan to computer sometimes gets a glitch. It was difficult for it to recognize the different computers in the office to set it up initially. The print from phone works great.

I have had no issues with most of the features with this printer, the printing is good and clear and the scanning jobs I have done were good quality. There is a warning for anyone that is looking at getting this printer to do a lot of scanning jobs, THIS PRINTER IS NOT CAPABLE OF SCANNING MIXED PAPER SIZES. You have to set it to the largest size paper and scan your pages that way, unlike other printer/scanner combos that can detect the different paper sizes and scan them to the proper sizes. This is not important for some people but this affected the way I was trying to use the scanner for my business. This aspect is not clear in the documentation or website. Perhaps because it isn't so important for some people.

Love this multifunction printer, it prints my postcard clear and without smudge but need correct setting on the printer. This took me sometime to figure out. This is not very easy to use especially i have different kinds of printing material to print , i hope it has auto detect function for the printing material.

This is the 4th Brother printer in my office and I have found them to be very reliable, reasonably priced and the consumables are cheaper than any of the competitors. I am very happy with them over the past 5 years and would definitely recommend them highly.

Pros: Loaded with features and unlike most other brands, Brother makes the cheapest MFC that can be set up to scan to a fax server. Network and local scanning is good and I have set up the scan software for a few users with USB-connected MFCs and no problems. Reliability is much improved from the previous generation (no more toner leaking everywhere and clogging the fuser heating tube Cons: Like others have said, creasing is often a problem with these. Depends on how long the unit sits idle and cools down. I believe the heat-up cycle for the fuser is not long enough to prevent creases from a cold start. In an effort to have fast startup and be eco-friendly ...we are using paper :/ ...they try to limit the warm-up time to as short as possible at the sacrifice of wasting paper, ruining the first few sheets: definitely not 'green'. I keep updating the firmware on these things in the high hopes that they will finally get it right. It has improved from the very first of these we received, but still NOT resolved. Please at least release an optional firmware that has an extra 15 seconds of warm up from a cold start..

Machine does great with scanning. We use it at a small office on a network, and everyone is able to connect and scan fairly easily. There are some settings needing to be done using a fairly easy to use controller module on every computer that wants to receive scans. Unfortunately the printing has been poor from the very beginning. Printer puts creases in first 2 pages of every print job. Most pages after that come out OK. Also creases anything fed through the fold-out tray. OK if for internal use, but not acceptable to be shown to anyone. Oddly, printing envelopes works fine, has never creased a single envelope, only full 8-1/2x11 pages. Also printing on heavier bonded paper (like checks works better, no creases.

While we do love this printer, it is still an issue with two things that seem to be across the board with Brother. After under a year of normal office usage our Fuser is at 78% and the printer starts to wrinkle pages. We have 3 of these printers in the office and they all have the same issue. In total we have 9 Brother Printers and the MFCL6700DW has outlasted the previous models we were purchasing so we are happier with these "higher" end units. The other issue is how difficult it is to get the set up correct for scanning. when ever we move a printer or a computer on the network we can easily change where we are directing the print jobs, but the scanning is a nightmare. I have staff running to other areas of the building because that is the only place they can scan from. Not an issue with the printer itself but with the scan software from Brother. Please make it more user friendly.

Wrinkles paper - not constantly but often enough to be frustrating. Have had to reduce the amount of paper loaded into try to minimize wrinkling. NOT happy!

I have been in business for 23 years and have always purchased Brother printers. About 1 1/2 years ago I purchased the 6700. Almost right away, it began putting a crease on the first page or 2 of every print job. We took it to be repaired & were told that this is a common problem with this machine. I thought that perhaps the problem was limited & stupidly purchased another 6700. SAME PROBLEM. Brother company needs to provide a fix for this!!

I had been using a Brother MFC 8460N for many years. This printer was a great upgrade. The printer is very fast. It holds a lot of paper. Has a super high yield toner. It will duplex without any manual intervention.

I have purchased new Brother AIOs that were reliable performers. I then purchased a refurbished MFC-L6700DW for a small business that has very low volume printing needs. The printer is a failure; smudgy print and wrinkled output on single or duplex-printed pages. Wireless printing from the Internet is wrenchingly slow (and the printer is located within six feet of the modem. Superior as a doorstop, not much value for anything else. Will not buy another Brother refurbished product.

Features are great, I use to have the older model and this is an awesome upgrade, can personalize in so many ways through the settings and is quiet and fast, great quality of printing and copying.

Have gone back to Brother for my medium business all in one device needs for over a decade now. I can connect however I need to, scanning is easy to set up for all my users and most important; I have found by experience that Brother stands behind their products! Customer service is an A+ which I don't give easily. My only frustration is that they have yet to increase the capacity of the machine's internal address book. I don't even remember what the maximum capacity of the address book is but it is far short of what I feel it should be. There is plenty enough room for all my vendor's information in there, but far short of being able to have my customer's information stored. Last item, the touch screen display is a little weird. Not really difficult, but takes some getting used to. It would be nice if the setting for copy density could be set to the darkest setting by default rather than needing to select it for "most" copying jobs.

I own a real estate business and we scan and print quite a bit. I have found Brother printers to be quite reliable and efficient to operate. I just purchased this printer as an upgrade to an older multi-function device. I am very pleased. Its quick to print the first page and very fast after that. The scanner is also very fast. It scans both sides at the same time which is great for double sided material and seems to be twice as fast. I am very pleased with every aspect of this machine.

While this machine does a lot, it still is having the same problem with the wrinkling paper that the older models had.
