Irritations
Inconsistent alignment / registration with bypass forms. iPrint and scanner software updates are way to often and do not function correctly.

Great...until the memory is insufficient.
I bought this to replace my old Brother black and white laser printer since I needed to print color labels from Canva. Well, I regret this decision now. 1. Setting up the machine was not easy. Although it was not a complete nightmare, the process was not enjoyable. I had to delete and then re-install the printer. 2. Now the bigger issue at hand: the memory...or lack thereof. After printing TEN (10) color labels from Canva, the printer has "insufficient memory." I have completed every "clear the cache" trick EXCEPT a factory reset. Nothing has worked. Nothing. And I fear performing a factory reset since I had such difficulties setting the printer up in the first place. Why do I have to perform a factory reset after printing a paltry amount of pages? Is this going to be my future? Resetting the printer after ten pages? SOOOOOOO inconvenient.
After reading the reviews about the toner cartridges (cost and changing), I am seriously regretting this purchase. I wish I had kept the box so I could return it. The only reason I gave a 2-star rating and not a 1-star is the color is vibrant (when I could print pages and not receive the "insufficient memory" error).

All round good value
I only have one problem with this printer and it's picking up the printed sheet(s) from the paper exit. There is a small indentation to aid this but, for me, it just isn't big enough.
Minor complaint about a very good printer, colours are good, speed is good all round good printer for the money.

So far, so good.
I've had this printer about a month. So far it's been flawless, printing both from our pc's and from my phone. Software is "different" from other, older Brother printers, which had us downloading additional drivers and such, but once everything was completed it works flawlessly.

Thanks for a better product
The wife and I really like the Brother HL-L3220CDW Printer. This is our first Brother product and we feel the quality is way better than the HP products we have used in the past. Thanks for a better product!

Works with Windows 7 pro
This printer works great with Windows 7 Pro as long as you install a 64 bit driver.

Great so far. Slow to first page print.
Great printer so far. I purchased it because all our HP color and black and white lasers after firmware updates will not allow third party toner. We disposed of them as soon as they needed toner and would do the same if Brother disallows third party toner.
The only thing is I wish it was a little faster to print the first page. On Mac or PC it takes a bit of time before the first page comes out.

Best printer, prints fast, setup was a breeze, always works when I ask it to even if it's been sleeping for a while. I love it.

Prints fine until it's time to pay the tithe
Like all printers these days, I guess, the printer completely jams up when it is """"out of toner"""". It is not out of toner. It is still printing just fine, except that brother has programmed it not to so they can hold you hostage for the exorbitant cost of a new cartridge. We have to print out important forms for a trip this afternoon, and this printer is forcing us to run around buying cartridges- a complete waste of time and money. Just like this printer, and the entire industry. What a bunch of racketeers. The entire business model should be criminal. I'd give it zero stars if I could.

Difficult to replace ink cartridges & no autoclean
The ink cartridges have to go inside a removable sleeve, it is difficult and wonky to replace. No auto cleaning, must be done manually. Have lots of color ink issues, including faded colors and colors are often much different than the document.

Great color print quality, easy to set up and use
The Brother HL-L3220CDW is very easy to set up and connect to wi-fi. It is compact, about the same size as a monochrome printer, and it produces high resolution color prints that are much better looking than prints from color laser printers that were available 10 years ago.

Great printer
I love this printer, it print so well for the price! I travel with it bc I have to and I just wish it was easier to connect to multiple wifis lol. I know this problem wont be for many people but I have to travel with the printer because it is a key part to my business and connecting to multiple networks a week is a headache tbh but its great there is no better!

Worth It!!!
This has been my second purchase from Brother, and their products do not disappoint. From connecting and setting up the printer, its truly easy and you're all set. No crazy hardware to install or looking for drivers. Your device, whether it would be phone or PC, your device finds it in seconds. Im also a huge fan of the Refresh option for your printer...no more worrying about what cartridge you need, your printer will send the info over and you get an email about your replacement. So to anyone new to Brother, look no further then not just this printer but all other options available. I assure you, their products are truly worth it and you'll appreciate the purchase.

Reliable, good support.
This printer is big and heavy but totally reliable. Big toner tanks are said to last for 2000 copies, way more than I probably will print in a year.
Printer came without a power cord but they shipped one ASAP. No manuals either but phone help was great in sending me emails with links to download driver and get manuals.

Great Printer, but missing 2 things.
This printer is fast, efficient and good quality. However, the secondary paper slot is poor. There is not a secondary tray for letter head or envelopes. Worse, there is only a slot, and you have to feed the paper or envelope, manually and you have to hold it until the printer recognizes it and pulls it in. This is a pain. Second issue, this is a color laser with a black and 3 color cartridges. When one color cartridge runs out, you can't even print black and white only without changing the cartridge.

Great color laser printer
I am really enjoying this Brother color laser printer. The footprint is smaller than my previous laser printer. It was very easy to set-up. I am not all that tech savvy and was apprehensive about the set-up process. It flawlessly connected to my WiFi. It prints beautifully. I would recommend this printer to everyone and would buy it again,

Works sometime, doesn't most of the time. Very hit or miss, especially with wifi printing. This was my second Brothers purchase, neither lived up to expectations. I am going to go get a HP next.

Being an older electronic user, I like the ease with which I was able to connect my phone to the printer. With my previous printer, which I still have, I was never able to do so. The printer does everything that I need it to do, which matches its advertising.
