I was only allowed two labels before I received the alert: Error-Cutter. Contacts with Brother left me with no working result. A hundred bucks wasted. Getting ready to junk it.

I have found that when something is easy to use, the results look generic and cheap. But that is not the case with the Brother P-Touch PT-D610BT! It is easy to use and the results look great and professional!

Easy to use. Plenty of features. Simple to connect to an iPhone. Can use different size labels and color of print. An awesome feature is can print two lines of text on larger labels. Using a phone I can even upload a picture and print it. Loaded with lots of symbols and characters. Happy with this label maker. Haven't had any problems with it. I also feel the price I pay for a roll of label tape and the amount of labels I can print per roll is a good qty per price. Like I'm not getting ripped off. It also can use batteries and prints the labels fast. The labels are durable. I've had some labels on a water bottle and so far they are still on the bottle. Haven't faded. And the corners are still perfect.

I've used previous models of this for many years. Prints great. However, after updating the firmware, I can't get the correct margins for what I'm printing. It's a shame. Never had any issues with any of the previous models. Need to call tech support.

I absolutely love this label printer. It is easy to use and self adjustable. I love how you can insert any label cartridge and the printer automatically adjusts to to correct size and function. I wish there was a master class on utilizing all of it's capabilities.

Love this little printer. It's Bluetooth connectivity is key, and flexibility with several label tape sizes is necessary for us. We can even print shrink tube - a real bonus.

The PT-D610BT is the third Brother P-Touch label printer I have purchased. The printers required replacement for no other reason that with newer versions of MacOs, Brother decided to stop supporting the older OS thus requiring throwing out the printer and purchasing new. Additionally Brother changed the tape cartridge such that the older cartridges cannot be used. Planned obsolescence.

This is a really nice label maker and printer. It's easy to change cartridges and even will print on shrink tube. Using this for a few weeks now, I've made quite a few labels and shrink tubes. I took off one star, should have done two, but at least one is deserved. Bluetooth with Windows laptops is almost impossible to connect. My Android phone connected really easy and works well. This may be a Windows issue, but this is the only BT I have problems connecting with. Also, to me, it seems the software etc is a bit on the old tech side. Really would have liked to see a cloud storage feature to save all your labels too, instead of on the devices separately. The printer device, when using it with its own keyboard etc., reverts to default setting every time, so all the margins, cut lengths, etc, needs changed every time you start a new label. My biggest ugh is the amount of label tape waste for each label....one inch of pre-cut waste. How did this get through the design and approval process? The flipside to that, the tape cartridges are not seriously expensive compared to competition tapes. 20 labels wastes almost two feet of tape. But all in all, I really like the variety of cartridge sizes available, colors, ease of use and quality of the labels created. This is a really nice label maker and I use it regularly.

Great machine. Customer support lacking. States specifically that there is a Printer driver compatible with IOS 15. There is no compatible downloadable printer driver for ios 15. I contacted Brother support and was advised there is NO compatible printer driver for IOS 15. this was followed by another email from Brother support advising there are NO plans for a compatible printer driver anytime in the future! IOS 15 is the latest IOS release for Apple. You have just dated your printer.

about this product I love everything about this product and how versatile it is,however my only complaint is that I absolutely hate that this is only compatible with alkaline batteries which are one time use only which means they're disposable and that's not cheap if you use this device a lot like I do,I'd highly suggest recalling this product and and making it so it works with all battery types so I can use rechargeable aa batteries in this to save money on batteries,like ....PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!

I have spent multiple (>5 hours) trying to fix this problem. Bluetooth printer driver will not install or installs and then disappears. Brother and Norton agents have tried to fix to no avail. Asking for a replacement in case it's a hardware problem.

Very capable label printer. I like the interface with phone so you can see what your label looks like before printing. The cut feature to make the label the exact right size is great.

This is my 2nd unit. I love this machine. I upgraded to gain both the COLOR SCREEN and to get the WIRELESS BLUETOOTH connection to my computer so that I could be cord free. From the start I had difficulty getting my Bluetooth to work. I spent about 15 + hours on my own and with Brother Tech Support over many days, trying to get it to work. In each case I had to unstill and reinstall the software. Everything failed. I would say I did this 20 times. Brother decided to send me a replacement unit. In the back of my mind, I knew that the issue was not related to the unit but the software. I had the same results with the new unit. Finally, i called once again and was connected to HIGH level tech support person who through a screen share session was able figure out the issue. The issue had to do with the "Com Ports ". If i am correct. Both the Bluetooth and Computer have to use the same Com Port # or you unit will not print from your computer. My Com Ports were not the same. If you have the same difficulty as I did, make certain you are transferred to a high-level tech who can screen share with you to resolve the issue.

I've used a PT-2400 for, I believe, over 20 years in my business. When its Print key no longer responded, I bought the PT-D610BTVT hoping that over the years its tech had advanced. The keyboard is simplified, but capability and programming have not. Tech-wise it can't handle paper tape for packages, envelopes, etc. The Stamp function is no longer available. While the display is more legible/informative and has three magnifications, it lacks actual size rendering. Further, the simple window over the cassette is only large enough to show the type of tape but not the amount remaining; nor is the software programmed to give warning of insufficient length left. Some programming is childish.There are multiple extra steps (usually to confirm) to set a function or attribute, and I question the need for both an O.K. and a Enter key. Some programing is dumb. For example, multiple labels with the same text are auto cut except for the last one. I had to come up with a work-around to free it from the cassette. I later found it documented deep in the user guide after doing some searching. Speaking of feeding and cutting, missing is the ability to specify the amount of lead or lag space. Being able to save labels and not just characters is a plus, but packing memory with lots of symbols[, emojii, etc., 99% useless, instead of providing common labels like: DANGER, RECYCLE, WARNING, THIS END UP, etc. and their associated symbols shows a lack of knowing how labels are used as well as not providing such when having the capability is dumb. Lastly, the user guide is cursory and disjointed. Functions and uses are not grouped together, nor adequately explained, detailed or illustrated. Also, they may be submerged. "Copies" for example is submerged under printing and feeding. Someone other than a software type at Brother should compare the guides of the PT-2400 with this one to see better what I am attempting to describe. Because Brother sells/rates the PT-610BTVT as a business machine but since it exhibits such limitations and attributes of inefficiency as those I've listed, I, as a businessman, can only rate it as FAIR.

I have an old P-touch that was able to use TZe Tapes and could also use AV tapes to make paper address labels. This new machine has a pin inside that doesn't allow the use to AV tapes so you cannot make paper address labels. Basically, they want me to buy two machines to do the same function as one old one. I realize it has a host of fancy new features, but one would thing that being able to print address labels would be somewhat of a priority.

Nice feel not to heavy Does Everything we need it to do including Barcodes. Best feature for us is the Bluetooth printing on the move and connection to the computer for device tags.

I am disappointed with the 1-inch cut the device makes every single label you make, unless you choose multiple labels to print at the same time. but you still get the initial 1-inch wasted cut. What i do like is the customizing of the labels themselves.

The 220 Display was ONLY readable with a Flash Light Instructions say is can be adjusted to (5) FIVE different Brightness's. I tried ALL (5) Positions, NO Change BROTHER tech Dept also tried adjusting the LCD Brightness They said their 220 did NOT change either. Need to be changed to the SAME Display as the PT-D-610-BT and use (6) AA Batteries. It has ONLY (3 Font) SIZES. Specifications say it has (5 SIZES) I have your PT-65 which I have had for YEARS. My OLD LCD "Display" is Much better than the PT-D-220 Decided to get a new one because of the TZe TAPE The Old tape became almost impossible to separate the Label from the Backing. Thought maybe my Tape was old, so I bought a BRAND NEW Roll from BROTHER. No better than the Tape I had. The BROTHER PT-D610-BT is AMAZING The PT-D-610-BT is the best Labeler around. I would HIGHLY Recommend it.

Brother P-touch PT-D610BT Excellent label maker. I have both the Bluetooth and non-Bluetooth versions. Worth paying a few extra dollars for this version. Large lit lcd screen and accepts the larger through to the smaller tapes. Really like this label maker.
