Brother TN420 Standard Yield Toner, 1200 Page Yield

I use this cartridge in my home printer. I'm involved with a few organizations which means my usage is probably a little higher than usual. Despite this, I get about 9-10 months out of a cartridge. I like ordering from Brother and being able to return the used cartridge at no cost to Brother using the parcel the cartridge came in.

Lately I've used cheaper cartridges. DONT. Use only Brother for your Brother. What a difference! Better quality of product and service.

I was amazed at the claim of the 1200 copies. I recently counted each of the copies from day one of the toner, and when the toner light showed up I had only done 220 copies. These were not in the toner save mode. The tn450 version claims 2600 possible copies. Reality is simply not present. Otherwise, my HL2240 is fine.

Someone gave me this printer, but there is no option for color printing? I'm going to give it back and use my old one, 8 years older but better.

Using toner in a laser printer saves a bundle that I was spending on color cartridges when I only needed black and white for most print jobs. This toner works exactly as it should, and at a reasonable price.
