No match!
This toner cartridge does not match my printer as advertised for the dcpl2640dw. Buyer beware. Maybe my printer is a unicorn? No one else seems to be complaining. Chat was no help, they recommended other more expensive ones but I am afraid I will have the same problem. Maybe its a packaging problem.

No where near 1200 pages
I changed cartridges to print a shop manual. At page 374 the change cartridge indicator came on and the prior few pages were of poor quality. It does have a lot of pictures, but I didn't even get half the number of pages it said.

Brother Printer and Cartridge
I love Brother products, my Brother printer is now 3 years old and all I really need. Being a retired Human, I only use to print out bank statements, correspondence, etc. I am grateful Brother Products are reasonably priced and last. I thank you and regards, Connie Lawrence-Gantert

Does the job...usually
Basic low cost multi-function b&w laser printer. prints well, has good features, really cost effective if you don't need color. My only complaint really, but a huge one that is apparently a common problem, is that of the lame wi-fi. It constantly loses the WLAN connection and I can't lose the Check connection error even after I reboot, reinstall wifi via the CD ROM wizard. It causes me no end of frustration. I want to pull out the few hairs I have left. I have a difficult time recommending this printer. Why do so many printers, not just Brother, have this wifi issue!

Good printer
Nice prints, good features, but slightly bulky, extremely fragile, and scans very slow, it gets into sleep mode after 10 seconds and when it turns on it uses electricity as an air conditioner.

MFC-L2680W USER REVIEW
For the money, this is a great workhorse B&W laser printer for the money with lots of nice features. The wireless is nice but will also take a USB hookup directly to the laptop or PC. The cartridges aren't overly bulky nor pricey, but they do last long enough to do most heavy printing jobs effectively and cost efficiently. Power consumption is low to moderate due to it being an ENERGY STAR rated product. The manual feed slot is very nice for single card-stock or envelope printing styled jobs or just to do a quick single sheet copy/print/fax. The only feature this model doesn't have compared to the other higher end models is the duplex printing and it's not a must have but would be a cool feature for big and heavy printing jobs to save on the paper. All in all a very well built printer that is built to last and priced very nice.
