This is the fourth cart for my HL-l2380DW home office printer. The printer itself is very good and the cart is also fairly long lasting in my usage. BUT the print is a bit light. My Mac driver does not seem to have a "density of print" control panel. I have looked everywhere and since you have only got Iprint + scan (which is useless by the way for controlling the printer) and have not updated your native software for mac with my newer OS. (I end up using Preview and CUPs driver to print.

I have used remanufactured cartridges for sometime and found that they worked in my laser jet most of the time; but then they stopped working at all. I consulted with a printer repair guy and he couldn't fix it, and we thought the printer was dead. Then he called a guy who was a Brother specialist repairman, and he suggested we get a Brother Brand cartridge. I got one and voila!! It worked. I'll never go back to remanufactured now.

I've changed the toner and even the drum now, (all original Brother), and still getting some smudges especially on 1st page of any job.

My starter cartridge on the L2320D came no where near the 700 pages Brother advertises I got maybe `100 pages with no graphics and no fine print. Brother will say it all depends and I read they follow ISO standards. But the starter toner came no where near being sufficient.

My Brother Laser Printer I have had for over seven years and no problems. When I order a new cartridge from Brother I receive it fast with return postage to send the old cartridge back. I have called support once in that time and they guided me to fix the error. Will stay with Brother!

The product accomplished what I needed. The printer was no longing printing on paper. Buying a new TN660 toner cartridge brought my printer back to life. I really like that this cartridge had more magic black stuff so it will last longer. I would recommend that you should get a new toner cartridge too when the one you have no longer works.

These cartridges seem to last forever, but when it was time for a replacement, I bought the Brother cartridge and was delighted by the simple process to return the spent/empty cartridge back to the manufacturer in the packaging. No waste going in the trash.

I purchased 2 tn 660 toner cartridges in the last two weeks. BOTH of them had SOLID ROCK LIKE TONER. Both make a clunking noise and both sound like they have gravel in them when i shake them.

I read all of the rating statements. I believe the less than five stars raters are not users that rely on the printer for a living. I use mine every day. As an attorney for 41 years, I have relied on printing from printers from day one. I started with a secretary and IBM typewriters. In college I learned to use punch cards the year before Bill Gates was working in his garage in 1975. Since 1980, I followed and used the floppies through the troublesome DOS and pre-MicroSoft 7. Along with those problems came shoddy printers. The worst of all has been the laser-jet cartridge ink printer. I tried many disappointing printers and wasted ink that rarely lasted more than six month. I have been using daily for over five years a Brother HL-L2380DW and used TN 630 and 660 cartridges without any problems. Yes, it's a monochrome. But it is a work horse and the most reliable I have ever used.

I have been using this HL-L2360 Brother Laser printer going on 6 years now and, I am very pleased with its Reliability that it gives as well as the yield of the Tones giving me around 2600 sheets. I find that the toner TN-660 gives me what, I want pulse a little bit more from time to time. For my personal printer toner wise the price is right for me.

You whiners should go back to inkjets, and who counts how many sheets you get out of a cartridge, i have 2 teenagers that loves to print and these last a lot longer than any i have owned, and i have owned a few since windows 3.0, its been a great product for 3 years and i have no complaints about how long the toner lasts.

I have a HL-L2380DW printer, and only use it for occasional home printing. The yield of the starter toner at 600 dpi was 517 pages. Replaced that with a TN-660, and the yield was 1538. All pages were letter sized. Would have preferred a better yield, but to get to 2600 pages, you need to sacrifice quality. Just so you know. And this was a genuine Brother cartridge, not some refill off Amazon.

I think some of these reviews are fake. I own a tutoring center, and I honestly print 10+ pages per day. times 5 work per week...that is 2,600 pages, which makes sense because I changed it once a year at most. Also! I stretch the life by printing only 300dpi, black and white, and no graphics, just textbooks, math worksheets, contracts, etc.
