I bought two printer cartridges from Amazon. Either of them worked. I ordered from Brother and the cartridge worked immediately.

These replacement ink cartridges are fine. I'd say they're moderately easy to install, once you realize which door on your machine to open. I like them because I'm an average user of my home copying machine. I neither run a business from home, nor am I a luddite. Like may people, I simply need "one-off" photocopies from time to time. In addition, there are between two and four times a year when I need many copies all at once. As an amateur musician, I'd say three to four times in a year, I need to photocopy and print significant amounts of sheet music (yes, I pay the copyright holder). And let's not forget the copies needed at tax time. The thing about these cartridges is that they contain a great deal of ink. Despite my "heavy use three or four times a year, I generally have to replace the cartridge only once a year at most. They never last for two years, so I'd say the average is about a replacement cartridge every 15-18 months. They are always at the ready, even after a long period of no photocopying at all, the very first page printed is a good as any of the pages throughout the run. That's a type of technical feat that had to be difficult for the engineers and scientists at Brother to figure out, and for which I'm very grateful, as the casual user of printing services in-home.

I'm not convinced that the toner cartridge I was already using was low (as the screen message indicated). I ordered this high yield one and put it in--no problem. It worked right away without having to do any settings on the screen. Wish the price was more reasonable.

I ordered a new cartridge and the package I received had a return label to send the old cartridge back to you for recycling. HOWEVER THE USPS TOLD ME YOUR CONTRACT WITH THEM TO HONOR THE RETURN LABEL IS CANCELLED AND POST OFFICE WILL NOT ACCEPT THE SHIPMENT. I called your customer support number and got a VERY BLAH response that I would need to find a local merchant who will accept the cartridge for recycling. NO EMPATHY! I thought this was unacceptable.

First several copies were fine. Now I get grey shading on each page. I took out and cleaned the cartridge with a cloth and ink came off of it. Put it back in. Still no improvement. Amazon will not let me return it since I used it.

I owned an HP printer of some type for 30 years. Last year I switched to a Brother because I wanted a smaller, lighter machine. I've been extremely disappointed because the cartridges do NOT last anywhere close to the number of pages listed. And it's extremely annoying to have to reset the printer when IT decides that toner is low. On my first cartridge, I didn't know about the reset option so I had to rush to the store to get a replacement with no notice. Worse yet, you can't buy recycled cartridges as you could with HP.

Product has been used for about 3 years. It seems to provide at or near the stated service level. Printing is good with varying levels of grey. The sales price was the best I could find.

We love our Brother printer. We don't keep track of pages printed, but we wouldn't change printers because of the quality of the output we get.

I just bought an MFC l2750dw from Amazon with a TN760 already installed in the tray. I had it a week and printed about 300 single-sided, normal text (packing slips) and had to replace this toner. The machine wouldn't even let me bypass the message. I took it out, shook it like the support says, but to no avail. I put in the replacement that came with the printer. It's supposed to be a TN770. We'll see how this one goes. I would say that by any standards, 300 pages from what was advertised as 4,500 pages is much less. Put all the caveats together and I should still get more than 300 pages. Edit: Now the packing slips I printed are smearing when we fold them. It's either this toner or the machine itself. Very disappointing experience.

I went on your website and entered my Model number. The site gave me options for purchase but when I received the toner, it was not for our model. I then had to pay to return it when I honestly do not believe that was my error since I went by your suggestions.

I switched from a color printer to a Brother black & white laser a few years ago. The printer is for my personal use and doesn't get excessive use. The print quality is great and the toner lasts a long time.

Too expensive. The generic toners are less than half the price. There is no reason why a replacement cartridge should be so much.
