You'd get better results if you applied satin tape over a regular black label. This tape is neither matte nor black, and it looks cheap.

I bought a D610BT specifically so I could use this tape. I'm so frustrated with the low quality of this tape that it's label maker is getting returned.

Terrible

This tape looks like garbage. It has air bubbles all over and looks horrible.

DO NOT BUY.

I bought this tape a couple months ago and finally used it today to make a greeting for a handmade card with my Embellish machine. I printed out the message with a leaf frame and it looks awesome!  The black on the gold glitter looks very classy. I'll keep this tape on hand for my card greetings.

The tape is good quality, strong and bright. The glitter does not spread anywhere which was an initial concern but the glitter is sealed in the tape. The tape is strong and firm. Removing the backing was an easy task and the tape remained in place. It is firm and it stayed in the items I labeled.  This product is super fun to use. It made me feel fancy using it. It also adds an extra sparkle to my life and touches of fun throughout the things I label. Overall I am very satisfied with this product and will continue to use it. I hope to purchase it once I finish this tape.

Glitter(fly your life

I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. When you want your label to have some fun, this is the tape to pick. It`s a laminated glittery-gold and the lettering shows up super clearly in black on top. (Don`t worry, this is not the kind of glittery that flakes off and gets everywhere.)I generally prefer a clear tape so the label itself is not the star of the show but when you want the label to be a bit bolder, this is a great choice.

Fun for adding Pizzazz to labels

I think the best part about this labeling tape is how well it sticks to my organizational baskets. If I change my mind on what`s going inside them, I can change the label without it tearing and not have to worry about the stickiness going away. I can also add or change the label since it`s laminated! Yes!! Definitely will recommend to all those who are organizing their homes right now!

Great product!

I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. I love having color on tape. This was super exciting to get this and try this out. I was thrilled to try this on different surfaces and see how it looked. I really like the extra sparkle. I use this a lot in my books and projects. I would definitely suggest using the ones that go with the device because it makes it installing the tape the easiest. Just a word of advice. But I would suggest this tape because it`s super pretty. I`m addicted to sparkles.

Very pretty tape

I've had this PT-D200 Label maker for a long time, got the Label maker back in 90's and to this day still works as good as it did when I got it. Just shopping for replacement tape now but I have been real happy with this Label maker

Great Label Maker

This is a nice, clean, ptouch tape if you are looking for a streamlined, business like look to your labeling.  I used these labels to make labels to organize my twin boys playrooms boxed and their dresser drawers. The matte finish looked nice on all the different surfaces I placed them on. It should be noted that you must remember to change the label size within the app itself ( it seems to remember whatever your last tape size was, if the new tape isn`t the same size,  you`ll get a print error).  I really liked the backing on the tape, it allowed for easy removal and placement.  This was a nice  quality tape, especially if you are looking for a clean professional look for your labeling needs!

Clean labels

I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. When I think of matte and gray, dull and boring immediately come to mind. But this tape is far from dull. It is very chic and elegant. I can imagine it being used to print something for a wedding, like a table place card. It`s very lovely and timeless and brings to mind Park Avenue and New York skylines. Just really posh.One thing I appreciate about this label maker is the simplicity and how incredibly easy it is to use. It`s so easy, my children downloaded the printing app onto their phones and print a new label whenever it`s needed or wanted. I gave the new matte tape to my son who is 10 years old, in order to test how easy it is to change the tape in this printer. He opened it, pulled the tape out of the printer, and put the new tape in exactly as the old one was. He did this with no instruction from me within about a 20-second timeframe. And right after that, he opened the app, connected to Bluetooth, and printed a new label. That`s how easy it is.I`m really glad to have this tape. It makes my labels look so sophisticated.

Simple & Elegant

I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. Just when I didn`t think I could like this label maker anymore, I got this tape. It far exceeded my expectations. It`s beautiful! It`s called glitter tape but for some reason, I thought it wouldn`t be very sparkly. I was very wrong! It is so sparkly and beautiful, I can`t stop looking at the labels I make! It reminds me of a silver foil nail polish. Very shiny and sparkly and chic.The thought of putting a new tape into the printer intimidated me, but once I opened up the label maker, all I had to do was pull the old tape out and put the new one in. Changing the tape couldn`t be easier, I was very pleasantly surprised. Even opening the packaging the tape came in was convenient. Surprisingly, I didn`t need any instructions whatsoever in the tape changing process. Also, the accompanying app really walks you step by step through the printing process, so you pretty much can`t go wrong there. It seems Brother really put a lot of thought into the design of everything, ensuring each step was as convenient for the customer as possible, and it shows. One thing I hadn`t noticed before was the fact that the printer shows what tape is currently inside. A very nice and convenient touch that is very much appreciated.I am thrilled with this tape, it has actually made me excited to try out more tape styles because this one far exceeded my expectations!

Glitter Tape

Since I have gotten my P touch label printer I`ve been using it a LOT and the tape options make me love it even more. This is quality tape that stays on everything I`ve use it for so far: glass and plastic. I`ve even spilled oil on one of them and it has stayed on. The same bottle has also been in my car in -23 degree weather and still no problems. This does what is says it will.

Beautiful

I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. I couldn`t love this sparkly version of P-Touch tape any more!!!  This is the very first time i have ever seen a glitter background on the tape options!  I love the combinations of white and gold!  I used this tape to create labels for my daughters dresser drawers, and the outcome was simply stunning and classic!  The glittery background is subtle, yet classy on her delicate dresser, and the gold stood out just the right amount of desired boldness!The instructions for inserting the tape into my PTouch were very clear, and insertion into my Ptouch cube was as easy as snapping it in.   The one thing i did noticed , however - you have to know to change the size of tape you are using in the app,( once on the print page), as it doesn`t automatically recognize a different size (width) tape... and this will prevent the ptouch from printing.  My hope is that they offer more than just this width glitter tape, so i can be used on many other surfaces.  This product definitely meets my expectations and i would highly recommend it.

A Glittery Sparkly Touch!!

The white on matte black tape is especially useful when labeling schedule 40 black pvc, or any other application where a shiny black label looks out of place.  I can`t wait to see what other label styles brother comes out with for the Ptouch label maker.

Brother Label Tape White on Matte Black

I love the matte black look of this tape and it`s 1" wide so it provides enough space for decorative borders and such. I can attest to the fact that this tape does in fact withstand spills and cold weather as it says on the packagaing. It has been extremely cold in the Midwest and the bottles I had these labels sticking to were in the car for almost 2 days and the labels remain sticking and intact. Overall good labels and work well with my p touch printer

Great label tape, modern look

I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. Have you ever seen a sign on a wall or desk that seemed as if the words were somehow painted on then upon closer look you realize that it was a label? These are the labels that were used to make it.  The 1/2 Black on Matter Clear label is a work of art. The label itself is so clear and transparent that whatever you label will look like the words were etched into it. I am currently using these particular labels to label things like spice bottles, my journals, the switched in my media room, and just about anything that I can think of. As always, the quality and durability of the label is top notch and I havent had a label rip or fall off of a surface that i have placed it on. However, be warned that these labels are best used on bright surfaces.. Placing the label on a bright (white, red, blue, light wood, etc) and the black text will just pop out and be noticed. These labels shouldnt be used on a dark surfaces because the text will be impossible to see. Outside of this one thing, these labels are great for every day usage and can be used for just about anything. Hopefully these will be made in larger sizes, I can find a lot of other uses for these besides labeling small items.

Text on a clear background is a great thing

I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. The 1" Gold on Glitter White labels can be summed up in one word Fabulous. It is just a great label to use when you want to take a break from the normal black on white labels. Like every Brother label, the quality of the label is top notch and surprisingly durable. I have used these label to replace the missing sticker on both my mailbox and front doorbell and I`m shocked that they are able to hold up to the current cold weather that we are having. The glitter on the label is quite eye catching and reflective. If you`re looking for just a little bit of glitter then this isn`t the one for you. It`s all or nothing with these and that`s a good thing. This label was made to be noticed and it looks good on just about any color surface. I plan to find some more uses for these labels. They would make a good option for labeling party invites and my art supplies cases, basically on anything that I want to have stand out a bit. All in all, this label lives up to the Premium name in both quality and appearance.

A fancy label that`s good for every occasion

This tape is the first 1/2 inch tape I`ve used for my cube label maker and I was excited to try it because sometimes you need to make skinny labels and the big tape is too big. Loading was easy, printing was easy, however when I went to remove the paper backing, I found I had to be very careful not to crease the tape in any way because after being applied, the creases didn`t smooth out. The other thing I noticed, after having a label on my water bottle for a few days, the corners were already peeling from being thrown in and out of my bag. I think this tape would be fine on a flat, semi protected surface, however for something like an ID tag or name tag for something heavily used, not so much. There is also a clear line at the bottom, as if the tape was applied to the adhesive slightly too high. At first I thought it was on the top and bottom for style, but upon closer inspection, it`s just a clear line in the bottom that makes it look like it needs a cover peeled off or something. This is basic, no frills, normal-use tape.

Basic tape that gets the job done

These labels are a more classy, sophisticated & soft loft -- the contract is subtle with the glitter white and the gold.  If you are trying to make labels that can be seen across the room, this might not be the best color scheme to go with.  But if you are labeling stuff related to a wedding or bday party or something, these are pretty and might be a good option

Classy labels!

I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. Pros:This tape looks very nice compared to plain label tape. It is glittery, which at first I was nervous about because I worried there would be glitter everywhere, however the surface of the tape is smooth and the glitter cannot come off. Using the Brother app I was able to print off a long list of product labels rather quickly, and they look beautiful and uniform. So far the tape sticks very well, however I can not attest to how it will do long term. Cons: My only issue with this tape is that the surface is very shiny and if the light catches it, there can be a glare that makes it difficult to read the labels.

Pretty CLEAN glitter tape

The gold lettering is also nice but it can be hard to see on the glitter background. But I love the aesthetic! I really like that the label maker software is easy to use and easy to design. I also like professional gloss of the labels and the adhesive actually hold. Great product.

Very Pretty Label!

The matte design removes any extra thrills to the label and seems to be most fitting for industrial or back of house use. These labels worked well for organizing a cabinet of mine and the adhesive also had a good hold. These are definitely sturdy labels for areas that don`t need to be aesthetically pleasing.

Big and Professional

Easy to read from far away because of the size and contrast.  If you print in capital letters, you can easily see this from 10 feet+ away so I`ve found this color helpful for organizing and labeling boxes.  The matte black is almost a gray color, not super sharp black

I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. I own the Brother P-Touch Cube Plus and use other Brother Labels. I tried the Silver with white writing. It`s the Premium Silver 24mm 0.94" laminated one for TZe Tape. This label color brings an extra "ump" to my labeling. It`s great for adding spice to other labels. I actually used it to help separate my other files. I use them for the files that I don`t always use, that way it`s easier to stand out along with my everyday folders. My 11 year old daughter even loves to use it to name her different subjects in her school folder. She`s even starting to get organized! That`s a win-win! These labels are the same as the other Brother labels. They do print out a small extra square piece before printing out the actual label. I think this is a waste since the labels are a bit pricey to begin with. Luckily my daughter uses them for crafts so they don`t go to waste. The back of the labels have a slit in the middle so you just have to bend the side of the label, (don`t worry you don`t have to bend so much that the label gets ruined) and the middle slit peels up, and you can just grab it and pull off one end and then the other. These labels are perfect to add color, fun, or even differentiate your other filing folders.

Shiny Glitter Labels Make Everything Better!

Nice and simple label tape

I own the Brother P-touch Cube Plus Label maker and I have different types of labels so I like to try other colors and sizes. This label is the Matte Gray with white lettering with 12mm 0.47 inch for the TZe Tape. The best thing about all the different labels is that it doesn`t matter what size you`re using they all fit into the Brother P-touch Cube. This label is thinner than my other ones, which works great for labeling smaller items. I have used this for food items that expire. I don`t have the best eye sight, so I will print out a label with the expiration date on, and then wrap it around any food item that I have. That way I can see clearly when an item has expired. The labels are sticky enough to stick without falling off but easy enough to remove as well. Just slighty bend the end and the label has two pieces that are split down the middle, that you can pull off to get to the sticky part.The labels can really be used for anything you can think of. I am the last person in the world to be crafty but I love to be organized. I coupon and the labels come in handy for labeling my coupon inserts. I also am a reseller and use the labels to help organize my stock piles. I`ve even used the labels to help my daughter learn words in different languages. I attached the labels to items around the house with the meaning of that item on the label. I am really impressed with the gray matte color. It looks professional and has a clean, crisp look. It makes the labels look more than just your typical white label for filing.
