About Brunton International Pocket Transit Compass, 0-90deg. Scale

The Brunton International Pocket Transit Compass (0-90deg. Scale) is a specially engineered analog navigation device built to deliver accurate readings in any hemisphere. This configuration of the Transit series uses long bar Alnico V magnets to resist demagnetization and quickly align with magnetic north. The needle's reduced center of gravity is designed to reduce needle dip when used closer to Earth's magnetic poles. The compass housing is cast from aluminum and is silicon sealed for waterproof performance.
