This compass is a juggernaut, we navigated in truly pea soup quality fog with compass on many occasions over the last month in northern Ontario. Not only was it legible but incredibly durable as well,a must have on any Kayak or boat.

The Brunton 70P Compass is a floating disc compass designed for permanent mounting on your kayak or other marine vessel. The direct-reading configuration always shows you the direction of motion and 5 degree graduation marks make the 70P compass well-suited for basic navigation and heading corrections. An integrated mounting plate recesses the compass into the bulkhead of your vessel and enables a flush installation.
