For the price I expected a lot more.
There was a 1/4" bubble in the compass (bubble present upon delivery, I thought it was from shipping so I warmed the comapss gently in the sun but about 10 min after removing it from the sun the bubble came back), the card was very poorly balanced, so much so that it almost rubbed on the bottom of the housing and the glowing dots that house the north needle are off by several degrees so if you are trying to take a bearing in the dark you are going to get a pretty substantial error.
For the price I expected a much higher quality product.
Fortunately I was able to return the compass, but this return process is now in it's third week and the replacement hasn't arrived yet.
Next time I'll probably stick with Suunto or Silva.  The prices are comparable and the construction quality is always perfect with them.
