The camera's rugged, weatherproof design ensures that you can leave it outdoors to do its thing without having to worry about it. The Trophy Cam HD Wireless is powered by 4-12 AA batteries and records images to SD/SDHC memory cards up to 32GB.
Image Sensor
At the heart of the camera is a CMOS image sensor with a resolution of 5MP. Image resolution can be bumped up to 8MP by interpolation. Capture full-color still images and HD 1280x720p video in both well-lit and dim lighting conditions, thanks to the day / night autosensor. Video length can be programmed from 1.0-60 sec.
Hyper PIR Motion Sensor
Motion-activated up to a range of 60' and covering a wide area, the PIR (passive infrared) sensor detects the changes in temperature that occur when subjects move and captures images in response. In adjustable mode, you can set the sensor to low, medium or high. The triggering speed is 0.6 sec. Multi-image mode lets you capture 2-3 images per trigger instead of just 1. You can program the trigger interval from 1 sec to 60 min as you see fit.
Lens
Provides an angle of view of approximately 45deg.
Color LCD
Equipped with a 2.4" color LCD monitor for viewing and zooming in on your images in the field.
No-Glow Black LED Flash and Hyper Night Vision Technology
Flash consists of 32 No-Glow black LEDs that have a 60' effective range and allow for bright, sharp image capture, thanks to Bushnell's Hyper Night Vision technology. The LEDs are invisible so as not to alert game or other people. Also ideal for security surveillance. Multi Flash Mode allows you to adjust flash power for different setups to conserve battery power where applicable.
Field Scan 2X Time-Lapse Shooting
Field Scan 2X time-lapse mode captures images at pre-set intervals from 1.0 min to 1.0 hr, within the hours of your choice--allowing you to see change over time. Two available time slots allow you to monitor dusk and dawn movement. Because it's not dependent on game movement in order to be triggered, time-lapse mode is capable of capturing more images than motion-detect mode, giving you a more complete view of what's going on throughout the day and night. Additionally, the live motion trigger is still active during time-lapse capture, meaning it will still capture images whenever it senses motion.
Wireless Connectivity
Wireless connectivity is available right out of the box, with a Sim card and data included. Pre-paid data plans are available separately. The wireless technology uses the Cloud to upload your images to the locations you have configured in your camera's settings--moments after they are taken. A free app for iOS and Android devices lets you send images from your camera to a smartphone, tablet or computer in real time, allowing you to view, email or upload them for sharing on the web. Plus, you can manage and control camera settings via your computer or smartphone. Enjoy data provided by Bushnell at no charge, including unlimited thumbnails, for the first 30 days. At that point, renewals must be purchased through Bushnell. All data communication to and from the camera operates on the reliability of the AT&T network, though you are not required to have AT&T service on your current phone plan or sign a contract with AT&T.
GPS Geotagging
Automatically embed GPS coordinates to make it easy to track game movement and determine exactly where all your images were captured. This also allows you to easily find favorite camera placement locations again later.
Data Stamp
Images are automatically stamped with the day/date, temperature and moon phase at the time of capture. By recording the phase of the moon at the time of capture on your photo, the camera allows you to see which animals are inactive during a full or nearly-full moon--when the brighter lighting conditions will make them more visible to predators. Moon phase also helps you determine if brighter or darker backgrounds in your images are due to the fullness of the moon.
Rugged Weatherproof Design
Durable, weatherproof body is built to resist rain and allows the camera to operate in temperatures from -5 to 140deg.F.
Power
Runs on 4-12 AA batteries. Also has a DC-in jack for an external power supply, which is available separately.
Memory
SD/SDHC slot enables recording to memory cards up to 32GB in capacity.
Mounting
An adjustable web belt for attachment to a tree is supplied. The camera is also configured with a standard 1/4"-20 threaded mount for connection to a tripod or tree mount.
