Questions & Answers

Mile M : I bought a pair online but they had no batteries in them. What size batteries do they take and what are the batteries for?Robert N : Two LR43 according to my paperwork that came with the binoculars.BARRY B : Andrew R. nailed it... Very useful in low-light conditions....ANDREW R : Uses two LR43 1.5-Volt Alkaline Batteries (button cells) Batteries power the illuminator for the compass.
David C : How do you focus?RICHARD D : These binoculars are focused by adjusting each eyepiece to optimize viewing for each eye.
Brian S : how do you read the rangefinder?ANDREW R : The vertical scale (reticle) visible through the left half of the binocular, above the compass display, allows you to calculate distance to an object if you know its height, or to calculate the height of an object if you know its distance from you. Each mark on the vertical scale has a value of 5 MIL (1 Mil is equivalent to an angle that can determine an object one meter in height at a distance of 1000 meters). Therefore, if a navigation chart gives the height of an object, by sighting on it and counting the number of MILs, you can determine how far away it is. Here are the two formulas: To measure distance when the height Is known: OBJECT HEIGHT (M) x 1000 M / SCALE READING = DISTANCE IN METERS To measure object height when the distance is known: (DISTANCE (M) x SCALE READING) / 1000 = OBJECT HEIGHT IN METERS

Just one more thing?.

I misplace the lense covers. I wish it came with a connection to lens covers.

Excellent Bushnell Marine Binoculars

These binoculars are everything they advertised to be. The vision is super-clear, and the internal compass and range finder are so easy to use! Quite a good product!

Best binoculars .

I gave them a 4 instead of 5 because 8 power would have been perfect . These gather in a lot of light . What I really like you focus them once and never need to adjust them again . Just need locking screws on the adjusters . My eye piece did break after 15 years and they replaced the with a free set with compass as thats all they had in stock . I did not like them because they were heavy and bulky . Ended up selling them .

Terrible Communication / customer service

None of the phone numbers work on your website. When I placed my order the site read "out of stock" so I tried to cancel and placed an order with West Marine. I do not want the binoculars and now have no use for them. Fix the phone numbers on your website!!!

Excellent for the price

More than good enough for daily use while boating; and priced so you don't feel you have to baby them.

Got these as a gift for my dad who has never had a decent pair of binoculars. They boat on Kerr Lake in VA. He loves them. Great product!

Perfect for boat

By Roger T.

Nice rugged construction, good power, a nice addition to the boat

These are everything I have

By Cletus M.

These are everything I have been looking in Binoculars.

From the vast expanse of the open sea to the intricate details of the shoreline, the 7x50 Marine Water Proof Porro Prism Binoculars are engineered to bring the wonders of marine life into sharp, clear focus. These high-quality binoculars are the quintessential tool for mariners and outdoor enthusiasts alike, offering a premier choice for spotting distant marinas, navigating through potential hazards such as deadheads, or observing the subtle behaviors of seabirds in their natural habitat.

Crafted with durability in mind, these rugged binoculars are not only built to endure the harsh nautical conditions but are also nitrogen-purged to ensure reliable waterproof and fog-proof performance. The robust construction includes a hermetically sealed body, model 13-7500, which guarantees that no moisture can compromise the integrity of the optics.

The advanced optical system features BaK-4 Porro prisms and multi-coated optics, which work in tandem to provide exceptional light transmission. The large UV-coated objective lenses enhance image brightness from the early hours of dawn until the last glimmers of dusk, ensuring that your viewing experience is consistently vivid and full of contrast.

In addition to their optical prowess, these binoculars boast an innovative rangefinder reticle and an illuminated compass, providing users with the tools necessary for precise aiming and navigation during hunting, birdwatching, or any outdoor adventure where accuracy is paramount.

The ergonomic design includes easy-grip rubber armoring, which not only offers protection against the elements but also ensures a secure hold in tumultuous conditions. Should an unexpected wave or a sudden burst of speed catch you off guard, rest assured that these binoculars are designed to float, preventing loss in the event of an accidental immersion.

While the binoculars excel in functionality, users have noted their exceptional build quality, with the ability to float and the good lens contrast being particular highlights. However, it's worth noting that the package does not include front lens caps, and some users have suggested that the strap could benefit from additional padding for enhanced comfort during prolonged use.

Reliable, innovative, and advanced, these 7x50 Marine Water Proof Porro Prism Binoculars with a 6.7-degree angle of view are the perfect companion for any maritime or outdoor expedition, offering a seamless blend of high-performance optics and practical features for the discerning observer.
