Owned a pair of these (12X50's) years ago. Replaced them with a pair of 20X50's, hoping to extend my range a bit more. Unfortunately the additional range comes with a price- an extremely shaky image. Just got my new 12X50's and instantly noticed the difference. The shakes are gone!!! These will be perfect for watching the annual buffalo roundup at Custer State Park this year as well as wildlife around our house throughout the year.

I remember using my father's Bushnell binoculars when I was a kid and now owning my first pair at 56. My powerviews are a very nice pair of binoculars and at awesome price. Great customer service too.

She's been doing plenty of observations out the window since we moved to our 2nd floor apartment. Figured it was time for some glasses that would enhance her enjoyment of watching wildlife go about its daily business. Well, I hit the home run. Did lots of research and settled for these and they are perfect! I'm happy but she's thrilled. Nice job!

I own a pair of Bushnell 10x50 Instafocus Binoculars and thought that these might be similar, but the Permafocus feature is somewhat frustrating as one finds that one wants to focus the image at closer distances of about a quarter of a mile. If you want to look at images a long way off then no problem, but for anything close at hand, forget it.

Nobody I tried these with (5 people) found them in focus at any distance. Seemed an impossible design objective. Apparently it is. Nice idea, awful product.

For me these seemed to be permanently focus at a far distant point, it did not change, or I didn't give them time too. I would use these for birds and wildlife and I could not get them to focus on anything I want to see. I really didn't think about it before I bought them but it could be difficult to focus on a bird in a tree anyway with no focus points. I returned these and bought a Bushnell Trophy series binocular, cost more but well worth it.

I already had a pair of Insta-Focus Bushnell 10X50 binoculars that were great for sports watching, from car racing to any kind of ball. I saw these on sale and decided to try them out. My order arrived early, with all items as as advertised, and in good condition. These are magic--no focusing required, just put them up to your eyes and look at the image. If the item in the image moves closer or further away, just keep looking--no adjustment necessary. I just became interested in astronomy and these are great for moon watching as well as sports. I recommend them for any spectator activities.

With fixed focus its very hard to narrow down the subject, and with 12x its very hard to avoid shake.

Durable, clear picture. Better built than expected. Nice carrying case with strap included. Great for bird watching and kids 8-10 love it as you don't have to dial in the focus manually. All automatic. Great buy for the $ I paid on sale.

3rd pair of binoculars in the past 10 years and am right away impressed with how rugged and straight forward these are. No focusing options were a surprise, but wound up being perfect for what I use it for. Light astronomy and terrestrial use, often with kids. So fool-proof and rugged!

No picture is ever really clear. Very hard to read letters/numbers. Pass on the auto focus and get the manual. Regret purchase.

These binoculars are great for the beginner, hobbyist or semipro, especially for the price. They are very easy to use with great quality. The image is very clear and it has a good zoom for long a distance. It's a little big but that's to compensate the lens for image quality. I'd recommend this binoculars to anybody.

We’ll they ARE focus free. They’re just set to infinity which is OK because you’re probably not using them for close objects. For me the worst thing is not being able to (change) correct one of the eye pieces. How many folks have the same vision in both eyes? But they’re cheap and OK for the price.
