It's a nice compact "sports" binocular. It's bright, and have a good field of view. It's a bit heavy, don't know if it's due to waterproof feature. So far it's performing well.

These binoculars have a nice clear view. I haven't used them a lot yet but I'm happy, they do what I want them to. They are not to large since they are roof prism.

Being totally new to bird photography and my old binoculars being 30+ years old and somewhat fogged desperately in need of a replacement I purchased a pair of Bushnell Trophy XLT 10x binoculars. Not knowing one binocular from the next I totally relied on reviews and recommended glass power. The Trophy XLT Binocular’s more than met my expectations affording me both bright and sharp images. I would highly recommend these for bird watching ….I’ll further state I personally found the 10x power so much more useful than my old 7x power glass. I’d gotten used to using my telephoto lens as much as my old binoculars, treat yourself to a pair you won’t be disappointed.

Optics are very clear. Great value for the money. You would need to spend 2 or 3 times the money to get meaningful improvement.

Excellent brightness with 42 mm dia objective lenses and good field of view. Not light weight but comes with case, strap and microfiber bag. A great value

Great binocs, especially the sale price. Description states roof prism although manual states Bak4 which according to some is better. lens covers could be more snug and they're a little on the heavy side, but come with neck strap along with carrying case. Being used during deer hunting

Upon first viewing, these nice little binos produce bright, sharp, well aligned images, and the lightweight design allows the user extended viewing with minimal fatigue. However, the 60 degree wide field is only clear to about 55 degrees, with a fair amount of spherical aberration at the edge. Also, when viewing objects with straight vertical lines (buildings, poles, ect.) a significant amount of "barrel distortion" becomes evident. This results in straight lines, although well focused, becoming increasingly curved when viewed toward the outer FOV. Additionally, I'm somewhat dubious concerning the reports of a weakness in the right ocular mounting that can separate over time rendering the device irreparable. I guess I'll just have to handle with care while the eye-cups are extended. Overall, with the reassurance of Bushnell's improved warranty policy, and considering these little binos' competitive price/ performance ratio, I'd say they're keepers!

I got these for my son's latest youth hunt. I ordered them on a Sunday and they arrived within 3 days ready for the hunt that weekend. These binoculars seriously rock? They are super clear and work very well in low light situations. They easily spotted a 6 point buck coming out of the fog at about 80 yards early on the Saturday morning hunt. My son waited as the buck approached another 23-30 yards and turned and presented him with a clear shot from the side. I followed along entirely while watching through these binoculars. On the Sunday morning hunt, we were walking slowly down a grassy access road in the FL WMA and he spotted movement about 150 yards ahead of us on the side of the road in some brush/cover. I zoomed in with these binoculars and was able to see front of a very large 10 point buck standing watching us. He continued to watch us for a few minutes before he ran away, followed by two doe. I was able to watch in these them until they were obstructed by trees. I wanted to add that on our afternoon hunt on Saturday, our guide had the 10x42 version of the Trophy XLT Bone Collector binoculars and I was able to compare them. His was just as bright and clear as ours and objects at full zoom appeared only slightly closer in his than ours. So I am very happy with this purchase. He even commented that he would have liked a camo version of binoculars like ours since his was the green version. So I would highly recommend these binoculars. The no questions asked replacement warranty is just icing on the cake.

I wanted a compact pair of binoculars to take on vacation for viewing birds and wildlife. I am very happy with these. They are exactly what I was hoping for: easy to focus and I get clear and bright viewing. I wear glasses and these binoculars are great with or without glasses. I already have 8x42, which are bigger, and the 8x32 offer quality viewing in a more compact size.

Very nice binolculars

These binoculars have a nice clear view. I haven't used them a lot yet but I'm happy, they do what I want them to. They are not to large since they are roof prism.
The Bushnell Trophy XLT Bone Collector 8x42 Realtree xtra Camo Binocular features a compact roof prism design with BaK-4 prisms and lead-free glass elements that produce bright images which are crisp and clear. They are ideally-suited for hunting, birding or any outdoor activity where a dependable binocular is needed. Complementing the 17.5mm long eye relief are twist-up rubber eyecups and an adjustable diopter, making the oculars flexible enough to accommodate most eyeglass wearers.
Designed for the rigors of outdoor use in all conditions, these glasses have a weather-resistant, nitrogen-filled housing that delivers fogproof and waterproof performance. The binocular housing is wrapped in Bushnell's Dura-Grip rubber armoring, which adds a non-slip gripping surface and protects against light impact. Ridges along both sides of the binocular and a textured center focus wheel make the Trophy XLT easy to use in cold and wet weather or while wearing gloves. A fast-focus mechanism enables the observer to focus the optic from as close as 7.5 feet out to infinity with relatively few rotations of the focus wheel. This item comes ready for the trail in clamshell packaging.
