Experience the enhanced version of the iconic BOSS DD-3 Digital Delay, now reimagined for the modern musician as the DD-3T Digital Delay Pedal. This classic pedal, a mainstay on pedalboards since 1986, is renowned for its superior sound quality and user-friendly operation. With the DD-3T, we've retained the original's sound and control layout while introducing advanced features for today's players.
The DD-3T Digital Delay Pedal offers the ability to tap in delay tempos using either the onboard switch or an external one, giving you the flexibility to choose from three beat subdivisions. This feature is crucial for creating rhythmic delay effects, a cornerstone of many guitar styles. By holding the pedal switch for two seconds in delay mode, you can easily toggle between bypass and tap operation. When the DD-3T receives tap input, it provides up to 800 ms of delay time, with the Mode knob setting the tap subdivision.
The DD-3T Digital Delay Pedal also features a direct output jack, now conveniently located next to the main output for easier connectivity in wet/dry setups. Plugging a cable into the direct out converts the main out to delay only, enabling you to send wet and dry signals to different amps for a wide, immersive sound. If your amp or switcher has a parallel effects loop, simply connect a dummy plug to the direct out to mute the dry sound for effect-only blending.
The DD-3T Digital Delay Pedal continues the legacy of the original DD-3, which was based on the DD-2, the world's first digital delay pedal from 1983. The DD-3T's sound circuitry and controls mirror those of the DD-3, delivering the classic, warm, round delay tone that has made this pedal a favorite among musicians for decades.
Finally, the DD-3T includes a "Short Loop" function, formerly known as the "Hold" function in the original DD-3. This feature allows you to capture a sound up to 800 ms long, play it continuously, and jam over the top, adding a creative dimension to your performances. Experience the evolution of the classic BOSS DD-3 with the DD-3T Digital Delay Pedal, a perfect blend of tradition and innovation.
