Let the DM-101 Analog Delay Machine Pedal by Boss revolutionize your music with its high-quality, innovative, and versatile features. This durable, user-friendly pedal is the epitome of classic sound fused with modern power. It's driven by eight BBDs (Bucket-Brigade Device) under smart CPU control, offering 12 unique modes, stereo operation, and a spectrum of tonal colors, all while maintaining 100% analog signal processing.
The DM-101 is a modern take on the analog delays that emerged in the 1970s as a compact and cost-effective alternative to standard tape delays. Its warm, saturated, and highly musical sound has been supercharged with enhanced capabilities for today's musicians, thanks to modern CPU control.
This pedal takes the analog delay to new heights, offering cleaner sounds and extended delay times alongside traditional tones. It achieves this versatility by using eight 2048-stage BBDs, finely tuned with targeted CPU control, to realize a greater range of sound while retaining the desirable analog characteristics that musicians love.
The DM-101 effortlessly transitions between gritty vintage echoes and modern analog delay tones with extended high-frequency clarity. Its 12 modes are defined by multiple internal circuit elements, including the number of active BBDs, their connection order, low-pass filter settings, and clocking rates. The Variation knob allows you to cycle through parameters unique to different modes, and the Intensity knob can drive delays into saturated self-oscillation.
The DM-101's CPU control also enables sophisticated stereo sounds not available with other BBD analog delays. Six of the 12 modes support stereo operation, providing everything from short reverb-like sounds and expansive modulated delays to pattern delays for intense rhythmic effects.
This pedal offers all the creative benefits you expect from an advanced delay pedal. It features tap tempo, note subdivisions, carryover for maintaining repeats when the effect is bypassed, and the ability to store and recall favorite setups with four onboard memories. You can also connect up to two footswitches or an expression pedal for extended real-time control. MIDI I/O provides remote access to 127 user memories, MIDI sync, and more. The audio outputs can be easily reconfigured for wet/dry rigs and wet-only parallel setups.
In summary, the DM-101 Analog Delay Machine Pedal is a versatile tool that offers a wide range of sound options, from classic warm analog delay to modern clear analog delay, making it an essential addition to any musician's gear.
