jim h : i am looking to put a green laser lite on my ar 15. is this one compact enough and can i mount it on my rail mount?BRETT S : I purchased a ND3 for my AR specifically for hunting. I like to size and weight and found if sufficient out to about 100 yds. I combined it with an EoTech holographic sight and makes a nice set-up for hog hunting after dark. Depending of how you intend on using it, I might suggest the ND5 if you need greater distance say for coyote hunting. I found the quoted specifics on distance for the ND3 a little generous.RYAN G : Yes and yes. It works well out to about 75 yards.DUANE S : I bought mine and hate it. It didn't work at all the way it was described. It doesn't light up anything- period. DuaneALTON S : Yes. The ND3 is compact and will mount nicely on your AR 15. The ND3 comes with different types of mounts to suite your needs.
Shopper : Does this product come with mounting hardware?ERIC M : The model that I ordered did incude the hardware to mount on a scope or binoculars. One thing that I was not aware of at the time of my purchase is that this product will not function in temperatures at or below 40 degrees. It doesn't get any better than this!!!

I Love this Laser Flash Light. I have this Mounted to the top of My rifle. Late evening I was getting ready to come down from my deer stand, out came 3 does, I got to use this for the first time. I shined the laser on them, watched them play for a while, and they never knew the light was on them. Guess it is true, they really don't see the green light. I like how I can adjust the area size of the laser. My wife likes it to shine in our back field to see the wild life in the late evenings. I almost ordered this product from another web site,she orders from here alot.Told me to look up the Laser here and compare price..wow..saved me over $200. Thanks

• The ND3 Laser Designator is a precision optical lighting instrument using advanced green laser technology. The patented Rotary Optical Collimator allows full adjustment and control of beam diameter and intensity to focus light where you need it most. Rotating the collimator ring to minimum creates a bright micro beam of green laser light visible up to 3 miles. Rotating the collimator to more open settings provides plenty of illumination to light a trail at night or paint a target at up to 250 yards. Battery life allows you to handle any emergency with over 7 hours of contniuous use.
Why Green Light?
• Green light is the most visible to the human eye and requires the least amount of eye adjustment at night. An eye that has adapted to daytime conditions generally has a maximum sensitivity around 555nm. Compared to the color red which optical spectrum is around 630 - 650nm our eye is closer to the Green region of the optical spectrum at 510 - 530nm.
• Animal eyes are intensely illuminated by green laser light and clearly visible at extended distances when viewed through optics. For optimum night vision for hunting, pair the ND3 with a high quality variable power scope having a 40mm or larger objective lens providing maximum light transmission. The included ND3 mounting system for 1" tubes provides full adjustment for windage and elevation for scope alignment. Additional mounts for binocular, spotting scopes and weaver rails are included.
