The MD-200 Modulation Pedal is equipped with 32-bit AD/DA, 32-bit internal processing, and a 96 kHz sampling rate, ensuring premium audio quality. It also supports additional control via external switches, an expression pedal, or MIDI, providing you with a wide range of sound manipulation options.

This pedal is powered by algorithms from the flagship MD-500, offering an array of world-class effects in a small, convenient package. It features twelve different modes, each with customized controls for deep tone shaping right from the panel. The powerful insert function allows for easy patching in of drive pedals and other effects for selectable pre or post processing.

The MD-200 Modulation Pedal comes with a free Version 1.1 software update, expanding the onboard memory capacity for storing and recalling sounds. This update provides 128 user setups, which can be recalled directly via MIDI program change.

From modern and vintage BOSS chorus effects to phaser, flanger, rotary, vibrato, and tremolo, the MD-200 Modulation Pedal offers every key mod effect in a minimal footprint. It also includes classic vibe and '70s phaser effects with selectable distortion, BOSS's famous Slicer for rhythmic grooves, and the rich Overtone effect for fat octave tones and unique sonic colors.

The MD-200's simple and direct interface allows for quick and easy sound crafting. Dedicated controls let you dial in rate, depth, and level for any selected mode, and three additional parameter knobs dynamically change functions with each mode, providing extended tone shaping without the need to navigate through menus.

With 127 user memories plus a real-time panel setting, the MD-200 offers a total of 128 setups to choose from. The pedal's multi-function footswitches control bypass, memory scrolling, and tap tempo, but can be reassigned to alternate functions as needed. External control is also possible via footswitches or an expression pedal, and MIDI I/O is provided on space-saving mini TRS jacks.
