Sounds are great and accurate. Have gained some attention from using it but still trying to draw the target buck back out. I ordered directly from the Primos website kinda late in the season.

I had a HS grunt call for 2 years and never called anything in then I got this grunt call and not even a full season yet and I've called in 6 mature bucks

A very nice upgrade to the original Buck Roar which I also used effectively for many years.

Best buck grunt call

I'm not one to write reviews on anything, but I am sitting in my tree stand and just called in another buck with a single grunt from across my field which is over 200 yards. I felt like I owed it to Primos to write a review, because how impressive this call is. This is the second season I have used this call and I have called in so many deer its amazing. The trophy and mature buck settings get every buck big or small to stop and look my direction, not only that I have called many deer in from even farther than 200 yards. Long out of eyesight. I have been hunting for about 25 years, and I have bought and tried so many different calls and gimmicks with little to no success. This is the first call I have truly been this successful with. I honestly believe it is because its not only the loudest grunt I've used, but it projects the sound better than any other I have used. I won't go in the woods without it and neither should you. Do yourself a favor and buy this call right now, lol. You won't regret it. I hope everyone has a safe and exciting season this year. Good Luck!

Favorite Grunt

This call is extremely easy to use and sounds great. However, be very careful when changing the call setting. I switched mine around in the stand and the sliding rubber o ring fell off when removing the base. Fell 20' to the ground and who knows from there.

So far this call has been great. Good sound and the sound travels.

I use it on rifle season here in Oklahoma and I kill a 10 point buck with in 5 min of use if the call

BR2 is a decent call. Only problem i have is the band. A simple paracord would be better in my opinion. Guy's at primos over thought that. Overall you will call in deer with this call, its good for the money.

Decent call

Great volume for distance . I can do a more realistic grunt with my own vocal cords but am limited on the volume I can produce . I gave a few loud grunts followed by 2 wheezes . I immediately heard a buck start raking a tree at over 100 yards . grunted again , no response wheezed again and here he comes . He hung up cautiously at 45 yards searching for the challenger . He slowly eased in but still very cautious but then turned and walked away . At 60 yards I grunted , he stopped and looked but not moving I wheezed twice and he instantly spun around and ran my way to about 50 yards then stops and looks around . He is now heading the right direction as he begins walking and gives me a 35 yard shot . Done deal . I rarely give 5 stars on anything therefore the 4 but I will say without this call I never would have been able to get a shot at this buck

No oppertunity to get a shot at an 11 point I justed harvested Wisconsin bow seaeson without this call !!

The Primos Buck Roar 2 is one of the best grunt calls I've ever used. I bought this as a back up to my Primos Rut Roar. It is very responsive and creates very natural sounds. I love the wrist strap designs on Primos grunt calls. It keeps ready at all times but out of your way of your bow string. The wrist strap is detachable also. I am very impressed by this call.
