I needed something better than my old 3-12x42mm; that's when I found out that Bushnell has a veteran discount program. I signed up and immediately purchased this scope. It came within a few days and I took it out to the range. It was much easier seeing/hitting my usual 200yd targets. The 50mm objective lens helps keep more of your target in your sight picture; the focal planes are easy to adjust to and very clear. The eye relief is easier to deal with compared to my old Counterpoint. The Bushnell lifetime warranty has me for a lifetime, that's for dang sure. I'm gonna look at grabbing a spotting scope and some binoculars next. Thanks Bushnell!

This works very well on my 308 Browning X-Bolt, clear, no fogging, very tough, comes up fast to make that one shot kill.

Bought this for a target rifle I built. I wanted something a little more powerful than a 3-9. Price was right in my budget. Scope is nice and clear, everything works as it should and zeroed in without any issues. Great scope for long range work when you do not want to break the bank.

The turrets on this scope are great. The glass is also very good. I got my binos out to verify my shots when zeroing but didn't even need them. The scope has very good resolution. The real gem here is the reticle. The center dot in the cross hairs combined with an illuminated red dot is a lethal combination. I've slowly been switching all of my rifles to this reticle.

I really like this multi-x illuminated reticle. Love the center dot. The scope is crystal clear, and like that you can feel the turret clicks. Overall, I'm very pleased with the Engage scope. That separated dot in center of reticle is fantastic for me. Thanks, Bushnell, for offering this type reticle.

I live in Michigan, have been a life-long reloader and hunter, and only recently am I getting into the competitive shooting ring at our local club matches, which covers short-ranged benchrest and mid-range (500 yard shooting). I bought this scope, along with a semi-custom rifle, to help me compete and I've been very happy with the clarity and brightness of the glass, and the accuracy of the dials. Adjusting for windage hasn't been a problem for me, especially since I'm using the Bushnell Ballistics calculator. The reticle is easy to read, and thin enough to not cover up any lines or dots that may be on the target you're using. I've already recommended to some friends!

Bushnell has really improved their quality in the last couple of years. Have had the Engage for 3 years now shooting competitively. The clarity is very good, turret adjustments are precise and repeatable, always returns to zero, with positive clicks. I much prefer the simple MOA reticle. I sold my Diamondback tactical and kept the Engage

This is an awesome scope for the money. I installed it on a Ruger 10/22 Target Lite and it was dead-on precise with every shot. The illuminated red dot makes target acquisition very easy. Highly recommend

Bought it for a CZ457 varmint in 22 long rifle for a trainer. Scope is very nice for the money easy to set up .clicks are very positive, glass is really nice and parallax adjustment seemed spot on I highly recommend.

This is the real deal. Not perfect but at its price point it is unmatched and rivals and exceeds both Leupold and Vortex in clarity and features for the next price point of scopes. I hate that my first order got hung up in the system and I wasnt able to buy two!

The image is good (great for the money). Turrets lock and track well. Tool free zero. The reticle is clean and uncluttered. Power range is great for use as a hunting scope.

When I got the scope and sighted it in, I went hunting the next and in low light I could barely see the crosshairs .All I needed for to squeeze the trigger was to see my point of aim but I just let the deer leave....now kinda upset I went home trying to wonder what made me buy it besides the price?? then it hit me that I remembered it having a red dot in the scope on bushnell website. So I looked the scope up and down THEN BINGO !! What I thought was parallax adjustments was the brightness of the red dot in the center of the crosshair....Wow went back the following week and once I started to lose light ,I turned the knob and it was ON!! Big Doe came out and I put the red dot on her and the rest is HISTORY.....so check your scope side knob for the battery!!

Bought my 2 first Bushnell scopes a few months ago during a mail in rebate period. The cheque was mailed in time, no problem. The engage tactical scope is one of my best even if (sorry for the reference) I am a vortex enthousiaste. The clarity is exceptional and the turrets adjustments are crisp and precise like no other. Many other shooters have tried it and we were all pleasantly surprised. I was to purchase a vortex spotting scope but now I will hold for the next factory special and I'll order a prime 20-60 X 60. It is refreshing to get more than you expect in this day and age.

I like this scope with one draw back. It's not the brightest scope in this price range. Turned up @ 24x it becomes a little dark and murky. Seems like you are right on the edge of focus but it just won't quite get there. On a positive note, tracking and reticle are spot on at 500 yds. It starts to dull out past that.

We have 4 of these now, two 4-16x44 and two 6-24x50. Fantastic scopes for their price point. Best scopes out there for under $800. I am loving this scope, it is nearly perfect. Given it's price point, easily a 5 star product. Bottom line is the price is good, the specs are exactly what I'm looking for, the glass is clear and bright, and the reticle is perfect. Eye relief is not quite as generous as some but it is decent and I adjusted to it pretty easily. Parallax adjustment seems pretty much dead on for distance markings. Target and reticle both are crystal clear. Bright, clear glass with the full view in clear focus even at 24x. New reticle is awesome, darn near perfect. Etchings are clear and crisp and calibrated for MOA on both the vertical and horizontal axis (Thank you!!!) Windage and elevation controls are marked clearly and have a nice crisp feel on the clicks. Accuracy seems right on and the controls return perfectly to zero on testing so far. My testing was hit the center. Dial right 3, up 4 (MOA), take the shot. Dial left 6, take the shot. Dial down 8, take the shot. Dial right 6, take the shot. Dial left 3, up 4 (back to zero), take the shot. The last shot was dead on top of the first one. Perfect.The 4 corner shots were also where I expected them to be. I plan to redo this test several more times but so far, the scope is performing exactly as it should. I have no complaints at all. So far the scope has had no issues holding zero over time. Solid scope at a good price.

Just purchased this scope for my muzzleloader, it's very clear a crisp like the low light capability, can't wait to hunt with it. However Bushnell need to provide printed information how the illuminated reticle works. If they do supply instructions it wasn't in the box. Very pleased with the scope.

This is a great scope at any price. The glass is sharp and clear even at low light. The illuminated reticle is great for low light or when you have a dark back ground, there are 6 brightness levels. The adjustment knobs are the target type have a click you can feel and they have covers. Renco

Got this as a replacement for a damaged scope. Bushnell CSRs couldn't have been better. Sent me this scope and it is clear as a bell. Great light transmission, easily adjusted and has a normal Multi-X reticle but with an illuminated red dot. This illuminated dot makes it work for me, as the really thin reticles on MOA and other mil etched scopes do not provide enough contrast for hunting or really any serious target work. In short the scope is just what any hunter needs. It seems to be well made and should do well from 22s thru 300s and above. Bravo Bushnell!
