ETHNO WORLD 6 Instruments boasts an extensive collection of 264 meticulously recorded instruments, encompassing approximately 620 patches, 10 construction sets, and 5 shaker sets. With over 24.7 GB of high-quality samples, including 23,559 samples at 24-bit/44.1 kHz, this library offers unparalleled authenticity. Recorded under the direction of producer Andreas Hofner with the participation of over 70 musicians worldwide, the instruments feature diverse play techniques accessible via key-switches. The collection spans a broad range of regions, including Asia, Africa, Europe, North and South America, making it suitable for folkloric, ethnic, and modern music productions. It includes stringed, woodwind, percussion, gongs, bells, and metal instruments, along with unique sounds like a two-meter Paiste gong, waterphone, and new percussion instruments, all captured with top-tier microphone and gear setups.
The library's expanded content features re-recorded favorites from ETHNO WORLD 5, along with new additions such as a mandolin, banjo, concertina, autoharp, Japanese koto, and diverse traditional instruments from South America, India, and Europe. Unique categories like Gamelan orchestras from Bali and Java, alpine folk instruments, and medieval instruments further enrich the collection. The user interface, redesigned for fast access, utilizes the free Kontakt 5 Player and supports NKS for seamless integration with Native Instruments hardware. ETHNO WORLD 6 Instruments provides a comprehensive toolkit for authentic ethnic sounds, cinematic scoring, and versatile musical styles.
