The Misfit Atom Pola+ has been a godsend piece of kit for my handheld and gimbal camera builds. So lightweight and well built, knowing its part of my kit is one less thing to worry about with heavy builds but its built so well it can also take a knock from debris in stunt work and just keep going!

The Clash 138 is a piece of kit I have been waiting on for a long time. I primarily shoot cars and I ALWAYS have a polariser in front of the lens. With the addition of the Movi Pro to my kit, I needed something that allowed me to not only use a pola, but up to two ND’s as well. The design allows me to clamp directly onto my cinema primes for gimbal use, or use in a 15mm rod configuration if I am on sticks. The Clash 138 is the perfect balance of functionality and lightweight all wrapped up into one design. Like all Bright Tangerine products, the Clash 138 is super robust and designed to last. As far as I am concerned, this should be in every DP’s toolbox.

The Clash 138 makes it so much easier to be efficient on set with several lens sets. Being able to quickly toss in a diopter or pola and still be pretty light, makes all the difference in the world. Any amount of weight savings is always appreciated and Bright Tangerine gets it. This was exactly what I needed for my Atlas Anamorphic set.

Shooting with lightweight, compact products is essential for my work and the Clash 138 provides all of the features I need in a small package. My primary work is with camera vehicles so having a matte box without a fixed sun hood greatly reduces wind drag at high speeds and the addition of a circular polarizer to dial down window reflections really makes this product a winner. For action sports work I usually run a pre-built, compact setup so having a low profile matte box, such as the Clash, really minimizes space taken up in my bag and makes my day much easier. This is the matte box I needed years ago!

I have been waiting for a matte box like this for a long time. I needed a clamp-on matte box that could hold 138mm filters as close to the front of the lens as possible. I have many older anamorphic lenses with large front diameters (134mm and larger) and they require the regular use of 138mm round diopters. The Clash holds the diopters extremely close to the front element of the lens. This is important because if the diopter is held too far from the front of the lens, there is a much greater chance of vignette caused by seeing the edge of the diopter. The Clash is a game changer when using large-diameter anamorphic lenses. I love that I can place a 138mm diopter or pola, as well as two 4×5.65 filters in a very compact, light-weight, clamp-on style matte box.
