Absolutely essential kit for your Komodo!
This does what great kit should do - make your life easier! I use this with the BT Kasbah system and it was the final piece of the puzzle in getting my little Komodo rigged out to shoot for shoulder mounted / handheld work. It's really well made, integrates perfectly with the Kasbah system and everything is locked down rock solid. There are plenty of mounting points on the side and top handle and it just makes working with the Komodo really easy on fast paced jobs.

The centerpiece of this kit is the LeftField system for the RED Komodo, featuring NATO compatible plates that securely wrap around the camera, forming a sturdy foundation. The kit includes Side Plates, a Top Plate, a NATO Top Handle, a Top Bar Bracket, a LeftField 15mm LWS Baseplate (DJI), and a set of two 15mm (12" length) Sterling Titanium Drumstix Rods. Each component is designed with professional-grade materials for maximum durability and performance.
The Top Rail Plate attaches securely to the top of the RED Komodo, providing a reliable mounting point for top handles and other NATO-based accessories. The Left and Right-Side Rail Plates provide a variety of secure mounting and rigging points for accessories like handles and rod mounts. The LeftField Universal 15mm LWS Baseplate Core Mk II uses the patented Open-UP Quick Release System, allowing you to quickly transition from handheld shooting to tripod in seconds. It's adaptable to multiple camera systems with Riser blocks and can be used with any standard ARRI dovetail.
The LeftField ARRI Dovetail Plate is a quick-release cheese plate compatible with the LeftField 15mm LWS Baseplate and Sliding Top Plates. It features multiple 1/4", 3/8" & ARRI Accessory Mounts for versatile quick release of camera or top-mounted accessories.
