The cage not only protects your camera but opens up rigging possibilities with integrated NATO rails & helicoil reinforced 1/4" & 3/8" threads with anti-twist ports. Adding a camera strap takes seconds using the integrated QD sockets and won't get in the way when not in use.

With the patented Open-UP baseplate you can move from tripod to handheld in seconds by simply lifting the camera off from the dovetail.

Each kit comes with the Side Plate, Top Plate, LeftField 15mm LWS Baseplate (Standard).

Helicoil, NATO and QD
When it comes to rigging, you can choose from threaded, NATO or QD points, or any combination you need. All threaded points are stainless-steel helicoiled for added strength. Helicoil fittings are crucial to prevent thread stripping or binding. An important factor to consider when constantly changing rig configurations.

- Top Plate -
This Top Rail attaches to the top of the Canon C70, providing a secure mounting point for top handles and other NATO based accessories. When attaching the NATO Top Handle/ The Top Plate also features two military-standard Quick-Detach (QD) points for straps & tethers.

You can also mount additional accessories using the cold shoe. The Side Plate also has mounting points to attach the HDMI clamp.

To use the Canon C70 Side Plate, you will need to attach it to the Canon C70 Top Plate & either the Canon C70 DJI or Standard Riser. Any NATO compatible accessory can be mounted onto the Side Plate.

- Left Field Universal 15mm LWS Baseplate Core Mk II -
The Left Field 15mm LWS Quick Release Baseplate Core Mk II is a universal baseplate designed to work with a number of camera systems using interchangeable riser blocks to provide the correct optical height for each camera.

If you own, rent or work with multiple cameras, you can simply swap out the riser block to get the correct optical height for multiple cameras.

The baseplate uses the patented Open-UP Quick Release system to work with any standard ARRI dovetail and can also be used with the low profile Left Field ARRI Dovetail Plate to quickly go from tripod to shoulder mount or gimbal. The sliding base also helps to provide optimal balance for the camera operator.

The three-stage lever lets you vertically release, slide and securely lock into place. A safety mechanism prevents any accidental releases. Safety stops on the bottom of the baseplate engage with full-size ARRI dovetail safety stops and can be retracted when used with the Left Field Dovetail plate, perfect for transitioning from tripod to shoulder mount or gimbal. The sliding base also helps to provide optimal balance for the camera operator.

The baseplate mounts two industry-standard 15mm LWS rods which are secured with the kip levers. If you need to travel frequently or pack light, two sets of shorter rods can be used to create a longer rod mount. If a single set of long rods is used, the front and rear kip levers can be used to provide extra rigidity.

Designed to last, the baseplate is machined from a single block of aluminum to handle the most extreme environments.

- Left Field ARRI Dovetail Plate -
The Left Field ARRI Dovetail Plate is a multipurpose quick release plate featuring multiple 1/4", 3/8" & ARRI Accessory Mounts.

The low profile plate is based on the ARRI standard dovetail and acts as a quick release plate for a camera setup using the Left Field 15mm LWS Baseplate making the transition going from tripod to handheld much quicker.

When used with the Left Field Sliding Top Plates, the Dovetail plate provides a mounting surface for other accessories like the carrying handle and Titan Arm quick release brackets.

Two removable safety screws prevent the plate from sliding out of the receiving accessory. These two screws can also be mounted on the right side of the plate to fix the dovetail plate into position.

The Left Field ARRI Dovetail Plate can also snap in and out by releasing the Dovetail clamp further. This is especially handy if you have other accessories mounted onto your camera setup which can obstruct the camera package from sliding on and off the plate.
