Great Step-up Rings
Breakthrough Photography makes awesome step-up rings. Never have an issue with them. Adorama has had a couple I needed when I couldn't find them anywhere else.

Happy, Happy, Happy
I bought this step up ring because of the construction material. There are much cheaper rings made with other materials. I wanted a brass ring which would retain its shape and not bond to the camera or lens. Having filters or rings stuck together makes for an unhappy situation. I feel much better with brass. And, if I'm not mistaken, they are made in the good old USA! Good stuff made by them in CA.

Breakthrough Photography Step-Up Ring
Started using these step-up rings with my larger filters on lenses with smaller filter mounts. The brass construction is absolutely great. I've tried others before and these are the best! Well worth the price.

The Best Step Up Ring hands down
I purchased this for my Sigma 85mm 1.4 art
I bought this specific step up so that I can keep it on and use it during sunny condition or long exposures along with my freewell magnetic filter system.
Before purchasing this step up ring, I bought a $5 dollar step up ring. Never again. It was so hard to screw on both into the lens and then the filter systems. With this it?s actually so so so easy.
If you are new to the step up ring part of photography or videography, you really do get what you pay for.

No more stuck filters
It?s not cheap but that?s actually a godsend. Well thought brass step-up rings are rare?the next closest thing are the Heliopan ones and they?re nowhere near this we?ll design. These breakthrough step-up rings are worth every penny.

Solid well machined adapter
Screws into my Nikon Z lenses nicely without binding and removes easily. My filters also screw into the filter easily and remove easily without binding. The knurled edges make for an easy grip

Rock solid
Solid as a rock, easy to install and to remove due to the knurling, Breakthrough Photography is one of my favorite companies with high quality products. This is not one of those step up rings you'll need to buy over, and over again because it got bent out of alignment when you tossed it in your camera bag. Considering the price of some of the filters I use it's also a huge money saver when you can use one filter for multiple different diameter lenses.

Seems good, but no protective case
Seems good so far. I haven't used it much as I just bought it. My biggest issue is the packaging that it comes in. It comes in basically a ziplock bag. The other step-up filters I bought that are of similar quality and price, just a different brand, come in a protective case similar to a regular filter case. I'm worried about putting this in my bag and it getting banged up or bent since it doesn't have a protective case.

Quality Brass Ring
Quality ring made of machined brass with knurling and excellent finish. Still possible to jam an aluminum filer but more difficult and easier to separate if you do. Little pricey but seems to hold up well.

Heavy but well made.
I'm liking the Breakthrough stuff.
These are much heaver than the aluminum counterparts but the don't jam, have easy to grip edges, and work great.
The only con is they are relatively bulky and heavy.
Ok, and they printed on the face where it could reflect back off the filter. What were they thinking? Print on the back if you must, duh!
Minus one star for having to sharpie over the yellow lettering.

Worth the Extra $$
Not the price of aluminum but with the brass you get what you pay for. Fit and finish is good with clean threads. The brass/aluminum doesn't tend to jam up with the aluminum filters like the less expensive aluminum/aluminum. With a little effort possible to still jam but can at least get them apart.

Excelent Product.
High-Quality Step-Up ring. Made of brass. Very easy to remove; the knurling design provides better traction when removing it. Highly recommended. All Breakthrough Photography products are top notch. I have multiple X4 UVs, X4 CPLs and step-up rings. I like them better than Heliopan and B+W products.

Great Step Up, Careful with CP Filters
Ring is great. Very solid and I'm confident I won't get galling. But I did get a circular polarizing filter stuck while it was mounted. Once I unmounted it the filter came free easily.

Brass & knurled edges make for a superior lens ring. You get what you pay for.
The brass material is superior to aluminum, lesser-quality rings, as it turns more smoothly and doesn't "catch". The larger-knurled edge also makes it easier to turn.

Clunky, but it's quality.
Big, heavy, but well made and no threading issues.
Wish they hadn't printed all over the inner surface with yellow. Haven't seen any reflection yet, but I'm going to black it out.

Amazing Step-up Ring
This is the best and last step-up ring you'll ever buy. The build quality is amazing and it doesn't have any binding problem. It is just beautiful. Highly recommended.

Buyer Beware - May get stuck
It fits properly and seems sturdy, but on the first use it was stuck to my ND filter. It took a lot of effort to remove it without damaging anything. Be careful not to snuggly screw it on. You almost need it to be a little loose. For $25, I was expecting something of higher quality.

Great product
Great step up ring. Solid build, feels like a quality product, screws on smoothly to the lens and everything stays snug. Not unique to this ring, but just be aware you won’t have the ability to attach a lens hood and, if you want a lens cap to fit, or the 67 mm cap so you can store it all put together with a cap.
