Good Inexpensive Solution
This plate adapter is for use with any Swiss-Arca type quick release mount. This 60 mm version is designed for SLR/DSLR camera bodies w/ the standard 1/4" tripod screw hole. The plate is nicely machined, all smooth surfaces, and made from aluminum. All of the screws (mounting & stop screws) are SS; the mounting screw includes a D-ring to help tighten plus a slot for a flat screwdriver or coin. Stop screws need a 4mm hex to remove (as does the end stop). As slot lets you attach a camera strap or lanyard. Works great on my D750. Comes with a cleaning cloth and a zippered plastic bag-case. Another excellent quality piece from Breakthough for many $$ less than others charge for theirs.

Item was perfect... Problem was cheap free shipping method Adorama uses.. It sat in local area post office for 4 days before being delivered... Customer service is in Philippines.

Outstanding inexpensive Universal Arcaswiss type Quick release plate
Well made Quick release plate. It doesn’t slip or slide and stays in place. Its build quality should last a lifetime. Go ahead and spend four times or more on others and get the same quality in a quick release plate. At the very least go ahead and try. Return policy always at high standards at Adorama.

High Quality
I have a Breakthrough CPL that is superb. Needing another tripod plate and seeing that Breakthrough makes them, I ordered one. I'm not disappointed. Just looking at it, I can see it's quality. Should I need another one, it'll be a Breakthrough plate.

Breakthrough photo Arca-Type plate is an excellent product
This plate does exactly what it is suppose to.... mount a camera to a ball head. One very nice feature is the removable lip which keeps a camera in place when positioned vertically on a ball head, Heavier cameras will loosen up on the 1/4-20 mount. The lip prevents the camera from rotating. It is also good that the lip can be removed so that the plate can fit completely flat if that's what is needed with a lightweight camera.
