This comprehensive kit is designed to facilitate a quick-release of your RED KOMODO onto the 15mm LWS Baseplate, DJI RS 2, and RS 3 gimbals, providing a seamless transition between different shooting setups.

The kit includes the DJI RS 2 & RS 3 Dovetail and DJI RS 2 & RS 3 Riser for 15mm LWS Baseplate. These components work together to make your existing LeftField 15mm LWS Baseplate compatible with the RED KOMODO. The top stage releases the DJI RS 2 & RS 3 dovetail, allowing for an instant transition to a DJI RS 3 or RS 2 gimbal. The lower stage securely locks the camera onto any ARRI standard balance plate.

The DJI RS 2/3 Riser is designed to set the RED KOMODO to the correct height when using the LeftField 15mm LWS Baseplate & DJI RS 2& RS 3 Dovetail. It mounts to the LeftField 15mm LWS Baseplate and adjusts your camera to the optimal height for use with 15mm LWS rods and accessories.

The DJI RS 2/3 Dovetail is designed to mount your RED KOMODO onto the DJI RS 2 & RS 3 Dovetail for faster transitions between gimbal and tripod setups. It's specifically made for gimbal use, featuring an extended 115mm (4.5") long plate and lightweight design to aid in balancing.

Both the riser and dovetail are machined and hand-finished in our single factory in Church Crookham from high-grade materials and hard anodized for extended durability. They come with our renowned Bright Tangerine Support and are compatible with the DJI RS 2, RS 3 & RS 3 Pro gimbals.

The dovetail connects to the camera using a single 3/8" screw, with integrated anti-twist wings that mate with the locating indents on the Komodo. This prevents the camera from twisting on the plate. Rubber pads on the top of the dovetail add extra grip, while the front of the dovetail features 3x M4 threaded holes which can be used with the DJI Focus Motor Mount Kit.
