Quick-Release
The Base Kit features our bestselling LeftField Mini 15mm LWS baseplate, with a Riser setting the KOMODO to the correct height. Our patented Open UP system lets you lift the camera on and off any ARRI standard dovetail, for smooth setup changes. For balancing the camera on longer plates, the Baseplate can be half-opened to slide.

Easy Rigging
With the included Side and Top Rails, you've got a selection of rigging options in a compact footprint. For classic bolt-on accessories, you've got 1/4" and 3/8" threads. For quick-release components, there are QD sockets and integrated NATO rails. To keep your gear safe, each thread has a helicoil-reinforced steel insert to prevent loosening, and the NATO rails feature safety stops at either end.

Easily Handled
Whether you're going handheld on a close-up or want to steady your grip while panning, the included Top Handle helps you to get an easy grip on your RED rig. A rubber inlay makes long handheld shots comfortable, and it can be built our further with our range of Master Handle Extensions for custom shapes.

Adaptable
A huge draw of the RED ecosystem is not being tied into one lens mount - especially now that Nikon's Z-Mount has joined the family. Compatibility
The Base Kit for RED KOMODO-X is designed to work with the RED KOMODO-X, with the Top and Side Rails designed to work the KOMODO-X body. The Baseplate comes with the correct Riser for setting the camera to the 15mm LWS standard height, but can be interchanged with other camera risers.

Mounting via a side-facing NATO clamp, the Top Handle offers versatile positioning and customization options with a range of 1/4", 3/8" and MAP M4 screw threads. Low-profile for use on smaller rigs, the Top Handle has a rubber grip for a more comfortable hold.

Add to your rig with minimal bulk with the Short Create Top Handle, which offers compact convenience for your rig. Mounting via a sideways NATO clamp - meaning you have full control over your positioning - you can use the Top Handle to customize your camera setup. With a range of accessory mounting options including 1/4", 3/8", MAP M4 and Cold Shoe; you can use the Top Handle to reorganize your rig for a cleaner build. - Bar Bracket Spacer -
The Bar Bracket Spacer adds 15mm of distance between the Top Bar Bracket & Rod Mount for compatible accessories. The added clearance gives more room for Top Handles or rods, for minimal discomfort while shooting. The Bar Bracket Spacer mounts via two M4 x 25mm screws to the front of the Top Bar Bracket.

Simple yet effective, the Bar Bracket Spacer adds 15mm of clearance to your Top Bar Bracket & Rod Mount, allowing you to distance the rods from attached accessories. Installed via longer versions of the same M4 screws that come with the Top Bar Bracket, the Spacer is a discreet addition to your rig: adding convenient space. Designed for use with our Short Create Top Handle NATO, the Bar Bracket Spacer is lightweight for minimal bulk on your rig.

The Top Bar Bracket & 15mm Rod Mount adds two forward-facing 15mm LW rod brackets and one side-facing rod mount to the top of your camera setup. - 48mm LeftField Mini Standard Riser -
The LeftField Mini Standard Riser helps set certain cameras to the 15mm LWS height standard on the LeftField Mini baseplate. Cleanly mounting to the LeftField Mini, this Riser is designed for cameras with an optical center height of 48mm such as the RED KOMODO and KOMODO-X. Quickly installed to the baseplate via four M4 screws, the Riser features captive 1/4" and 3/8" screws that can be repositioned to fit different camera bodies.

Take your rig to new heights with our range of LeftField Mini standard Risers, which elevate different cameras to the 15mm LWS standard height. This model adds 37mm of height: making it suitable for cameras including the Sony FX6 and Blackmagic URSA Cine to set their optical centers to the correct height. Made from our signature high-grade aluminum, the Riser mounts cleanly to the LeftField Mini baseplate via M4 screws - and features sliding 1/4" and 3/8" screws for different camera bases.
