The LeftField 3 Expert Kit for the RED V-RAPTOR and DJI Ronin 2 provides quick-release convenience between your RED V-RAPTOR and the DJI Ronin 2 Gimbal with a dedicated riser and dovetail. Bridging the gap between RED and Ronin, the LeftField 3 Expert Kit for RED V-RAPTOR allows you to quickly and easily set your RED rig up on DJI's flagship gimbal - and then seamlessly transition to a different mount point. Fully compatible with ARRI standard dovetails, the Expert Kit uses our Open UP quick-release system to seamlessly mount or dismount in moments. Ronin Rigging
For camerawork without compromise, the LeftField Expert Kit gives you the tools to mount your V-RAPTOR to the DJI Ronin 2 gimbal system. Coming with a dedicated riser and dovetail for the LeftField Baseplate, the Expert Kit helps you quickly and easily get setup for moving shots.

Open UP with LeftField
At the core of the LeftField 3 Baseplate is the dovetail clamp, which uses our Open UP for quick-release capabilities. This means that your camera is secured in place when you need it, but easily released when you don't with the flick of a clamp switch. The LeftField Baseplate can mount to any ARRI-standard dovetail, even those out of tolerance.

15mm LWS Compatibility
The LeftField Baseplate also adds the option to mount support rods in the 15mm LWS configuration; for the additional mounting of follow-focus motors, matte boxes and more. If you need to adjust the weight distribution of your rig, then this provides a great alternative to mounting directly to your camera or lens - preventing damage to either.

Designed for the RED V-RAPTOR
The LeftField 3 Expert Kit is purpose-built for RED V-RAPTOR compatibility, with accessories fitting discreetly to the camera body. The V-RAPTOR Side Plates sit on the side of the camera and provides 1/4" and 3/8" screw threads, along with ARRI-standard rosettes for mounting handgrips or other accessories. The Right Side Horseshoe pairs perfectly with the Side Plate, allowing you to further vary your V-RAPTOR without adding to the camera's compact footprint.

Accessories with Ease
The rest of the LeftField 3 Expert Kit components are just as useful. The purpose-built RED V-RAPTOR Top Plate has a miniature dovetail of its own, meaning that you can slide or entirely remove the central element for quick accessory mounting. Likewise, the Sliding Top Handle allows you to adjust the individual positioning of your handle, and is fully compatible with our Master Handle Extension Set.

Made from anodized aluminum, each component is resistant to wear and corrosion; and the internals of the screw threads are fitted with stainless steel Helicoil inserts to prevent stripping or binding. The ARRI rosettes are CNC-milled for greater grip for your handgrips.

Compatibility
The LeftField 3 Expert Kit for RED V-RAPTOR is compatible with the RED V-RAPTOR, with a number of accessories designed to mount specifically to this camera. The LeftField Baseplate allows the camera to be paired with 15mm LWS setups, as well as mounting to any standard ARRI dovetail.

The remaining components provide 1/4" and 3/8" screw threads; along with ARRI rosettes and 15mm rod brackets. The Baseplate also comes with a Riser for setting the camera to the correct height when using the DJI Ronin 2 gimbal.

Add a dual-stage quick-release base to your RED V-RAPTOR. Simply release the top stage to transfer straight to a DJI Ronin 2 gimbal and the lower stage for any ARRI standard dovetail.

This kit includes the LeftField 3 15mm LWS Universal Baseplate, LeftField Dovetail Plate, DJI Ronin 2 riser & dovetail for the RED V-RAPTOR.

This Bright Tangerine baseplate kit is designed for RED V-RAPTOR users wanting to add the Quick-Release 15mm LWS Baseplate with support for 15mm rods. The top stage releases the DJI Ronin 2 dovetail, so you can quickly transition to the Ronin 2, and the lower stage allows you to securely lock off the camera onto any ARRI standard balance plate.

The whole kit combined is extremely light-weight & low profile, which keeps all of your V-RAPTOR builds, nimble and compact.

- Sliding Top Plate -
Add the Top Plate to your RED V-RAPTOR to easily mount accessories & gimbal cross bar mounts.

Quick release the dovetail for faster transitions with full clearance of the RED Monitor Interface & helicoil reinforced threads.

This Top Plate mounts directly to the RED V-RAPTOR and provides a secure surface for rigging accessories like handles & gimbal mounts. It has full clearance for the RED Monitor Interface and is vented to maintain proper airflow for the cooling fans. The top plate attaches to the camera using four screws using a 4mm Hex key

Reliable & Secure
Multiple dovetail plates can be preconfigured to speed up setup changes using the quick release mechanism. The plate features multiple safety mechanisms which prevent any accidental releases.

The dovetail features two safety screws which act as limit stops. In addition to this, a safety eject button must be activated before the clamp can be released to remove the dovetail plate. Finally, an optional dead lock can be used with a 4mm Hex key which secures the dovetail in place, removing any chance of the plate from sliding or moving.

The right side features mounting points for use with B4002.1051 Right Side Horse Shoe.

Reinforced Mounting Points
The dovetail plate features multiple 3/8" anti-twist & 1/4" threaded points which have a hole depth of 10mm preventing any accessories bottoming out & maximizes thread engagement. The central row has been spaced for compatibility with mounting plates for the DJI Ronin 2 & Freefly Movi, with top handle points on each end. These threads have also been helicoil reinforced for added strength.

- Sliding Top Handle -
The Sliding Top Handle is a sturdy top handle that mounts via two 1/4" screws spaced 50mm apart. The handlebar can slide forwards and backwards for optimal balance and features 1/4" and 3/8" threads, as well as a cold shoe mount and QD sockets for extensive customization options.

Made from lightweight anodized aluminum, the Sliding Top Handle is a durable and highly customizable rigging solution.

Build up your RED rig with the Sliding Top Handle: ideal for cameras like the RED KOMODO, KOMODO-X or V-RAPTOR. Attaching via two 1/4"-20 screws, the Top Handle provides a comfortable and convenient grip. You can precisely adjust the positioning of the handle itself using the top bracket, sliding the Top Handle forwards and backwards for optimal balance - the handle features safety buttons at either end to prevent it falling out.

Made from lightweight aluminum for a robust and durable build, the Sliding Top Handle gives you plenty of options for customization.

Versatile Design
The Sliding Top Handle mounts securely via two 1/4" screws, but the top bracket allows for sliding travel of the handlebar itself. This means you can reverse the handle on its mount or simply rebalance it in moments, with the winged-lever clamp and safety stops ensuring the handle doesn't fall off mid-take.
