Bright Tangerine DJI Ronin 2 LeftField 3 Quick Release Baseplate for RED V-RAPTOR Camera

This Bright Tangerine baseplate kit is designed for RED V-RAPTOR users wanting to add the Quick-Release 15mm LWS Baseplate with support for 15mm rods. The top stage releases the DJI Ronin 2 dovetail, so you can quickly transition to the Ronin 2, and the lower stage allows you to securely lock off the camera onto any ARRI standard balance plate.

The whole kit combined is extremely light-weight & low profile, which keeps all of your V-RAPTOR builds, nimble and compact.

Vertical Lift Off
Feel secure with our patented Open Up quick release system, providing the confidence that your camera will remain safely and securely locked off, with no danger of it slipping or falling off.

The lever has three positions - locked, slide & release.
• When the lever is in its rearmost position, the bridgeplate locks firmly into place
• Position the lever to the midpoint, allowing you to shift your bridgeplate along the balance plate with ease
• To release the camera, press the safety eject button on the lever and adjust the lever to its forward position

Accessory Mounting
The baseplate offers a secure and sturdy foundation for mounting accessories on 15mm rods, including lens supports, focus motors, matte boxes, hand grips and more. When you pair our Drumstix rods with the bridgeplate, you'll get a combination of strength and lightweight performance that can't be beaten.

The sides feature mounting points for compatible side plates and the rear has mounting points for the LeftField 3 KASBAH Shoulder Pad.

- DJI Ronin 2 Riser -
Set the RED V-RAPTOR to the correct height when using the Left Field 15mm LWS Baseplate & DJI Ronin 2 Dovetail.

The quick release allows for fast transitions between tripod & gimbal work without needing to change plates.

This interchangeable riser combines with the LeftField Universal 15mm LWS Baseplate and B4002.1058 DJI Ronin 2 Dovetail to set the RED V-RAPTOR at the correct height for 15mm LWS standards.

The quick release clamp enables fast transitions between tripod, handheld & gimbal setups.

Reliable & Safe
The dovetail is secured using a 4mm Hex key which enables the operator to securely tighten down the clamp with a higher force than a lever. There is also no risk of levers being knocked during operation.

Additional safety points prevent the camera plates from sliding out accidentally.

DJI Ronin 2 Compatible
The receiver is compatible with B4002.1058 DJI Ronin 2 Dovetail for RED V-RAPTOR and other Ronin 2 plates. When using other plates, the height may vary resulting in non-standard heights.

- Universal Extended DJI Ronin 2 Dovetail -
Mount your camera on the LeftField DJI Ronin 2 Dovetail to quick release between the LeftField 15mm LWS Baseplate and the DJI Ronin 2 without changing plates.

Lens adapters can be supported using the included 3/8" or 1/4" screws.

This dovetail mounts onto your camera and lets you quickly switch between the LeftField 15mm LWS Baseplate to gimbal or handheld in seconds. It also lets you mount the camera directly onto the DJI Ronin 2 and Universal Tripod Adapter.

Universal Fit
The dovetail includes three camera mounting screws (two 3/8-16" & a 1/4-20"). Using the three captive screws on the captive shuttle, the camera can be securely mounted with no twisting or movement.

The channel allows the camera to be balanced on the plate for weight distribution with the extra width providing added stability while removing any flex.

The screws can be removed when not required for smaller cameras with one or two mounting points.

DJI Ronin 2 Compatible
The dovetail is compatible with the DJI Ronin 2, allowing it to be loaded directly onto the gimbal without the need to change camera plates. Laser etched markers along the length of the dovetail let ACs mark down balanced positions on the gimbal.

When paired with our LeftField DJI Ronin 2 quick release risers, the camera is set at the correct height for 15mm LWS support & accessories.

Support For Accessories
Lens adapters can be secured using the front channel and supplied screws. Depending on the camera height, not all lens feet will be compatible or require spacers.

- Left Field ARRI Dovetail Plate -
The Left Field ARRI Dovetail Plate is a quick release cheese plate that is compatible with the Left Field 15mm LWS Baseplate and Sliding Top Plates.

The LeftField ARRI Dovetail Plate is a multipurpose quick release plate featuring multiple 1/4", 3/8" & ARRI Accessory Mounts.

The low profile plate is based on the ARRI standard dovetail and acts as a quick release plate for a camera setup using the LeftField 15mm LWS Baseplate making the transition going from tripod to handheld much quicker.

When used with the LeftField Sliding Top Plates, the Dovetail plate provides a mounting surface for other accessories like the carrying handle and Titan Arm quick release brackets.

Two removable safety screws prevent the plate from sliding out of the receiving accessory. These two screws can also be mounted on the right side of the plate to fix the dovetail plate into position.

The LeftField ARRI Dovetail Plate can also snap in and out by releasing the Dovetail clamp further. This is especially handy if you have other accessories mounted onto your camera setup which can obstruct the camera package from sliding on and off the plate.
