Bright Tangerine DJI RS 2/RS 3 Riser Kit for RED V-RAPTOR Camera Baseplate

Speed up transitions between tripod, handheld & the DJI RS 4 & 3 with this riser kit. This kit sets the camera to the correct height for 15mm LWS and includes the DJI RS 4 & 3 riser & dovetail for the RED V-RAPTOR to connect with the LeftField 15mm LWS Universal Baseplate.

Set up the RED V-RAPTOR for 15mm LWS configurations with the ability to quickly switch between the DJI RS 4/RS 3 & the LeftField 15mm LWS Baseplate.

With the included RS 4 dovetail plate, transitioning from gimbal to tripod or handheld is seamless. Quickly release between setups without the need to dismount or swap plates. Using the three captive screws on the captive shuttle, the camera can be securely mounted with no twisting or movement.

For DJI RS Gimbals
The dovetail is compatible with the RS series of gimbals from DJI including the latest RS 4 Pro, RS 4 and RS 3 Pro & RS 3, allowing it to be loaded directly onto the gimbal without the need to change camera plates. The extra length provides ample room for balancing & adjustment. Laser etched markers along the length of the dovetail let ACs mark down balanced positions on the gimbal.

Support for Accessories
Lens adapters can be secured using the front channel and supplied screws. Three M4 points can be used to mount the DJI Focus Motor Rod Mount.

Compatibility
The DJI gimbal plates ship from the factory with washers of varying thicknesses. While these variations work fine with DJI's own plate, they may cause clearance issues with the Bright Tangerine DJI compatible plates. This is due to the low-profile design of the protruding support and anti-rotation features, which are crucial for securing the camera.

If you are finding that the bottom of the Bright Tangerine DJI plate is hitting the gray clamp lever and preventing fore and aft slide, you can swap the original washer out with the thinner one supplied in this kit. This will lower the gray lever sufficiently to clear the Bright Tangerine DJI plate. Please note, the use of the thinner washer in this kit will not impact the use of any other baseplates on the DJI camera plate.

Set the RED V-RAPTOR to the correct height when using the Left Field 15mm LWS Baseplate with the Manfrotto or DJI RS 4 & 3 riser, when paired with the RED V-Raptor Manfrotto or DJI RS 4 & RS 3 dovetails.

The quick release allows for fast transitions between tripod, handheld & gimbal work without needing to change plates. This interchangeable riser combines with LeftField 15mm LWS Baseplates and acts as a receiver for compatible Manfrotto & DJI dovetails.

The riser sets the RED V-RAPTOR at the correct height for 15mm LWS standards in combination with the dovetails. The quick release clamp enables fast transitions between setups.

Reliable & Safe
The riser comes preinstalled with the Ratchet Lock Lever which can be swapped out for the low profile locking screw.

The screw option requires a 4mm Hex key to securely tighten down the clamp with a higher force than a lever. Swapping out the lever removes the risk of it being knocked during operation. When removing the dovetail, the safety is required to be pressed before the camera can be released.

Compatible with DJI RS 4 & RS 3 Gimbal Plates plus Manfrotto 501PL
The receiver is compatible with our Manfrotto & DJI RS gimbal dovetails. When using other plates, the height may vary resulting in non-standard heights.

The dovetail is designed to be paired with LeftField 15mm LWS Baseplates with the DJI RS 4 riser for RED V-RAPTOR. This dovetail mounts onto your RED V-RAPTOR and lets you quickly switch between the LeftField 15mm LWS Baseplate to gimbal or handheld in seconds.

Easily balance your V-RAPTOR on DJI gimbals
The dovetail includes three camera mounting screws (two 3/8-16" & a 1/4-20"). Using the three captive screws on the captive shuttle, the camera can be securely mounted with no twisting or movement. The channel allows the camera to be balanced on the plate for weight distribution with the extra width providing added stability while removing any flex.

The dovetail uses the same DJI standard, complete with a racking gear. It works directly with the RS 4 Pro, RS 4, RS 3 Pro, RS 3 & earlier models without the need to change camera plates. The extra length provides ample room for balancing & adjustment.

Lens adapters can be secured using the front channel and supplied screws. Depending on the camera height, not all lens feet will be compatible or require spacers.

The broad, flat surface of the universal dovetail ensures your camera remains stable, maximizing surface area to eliminate any flex. Rubber grips prevent twisting, even with smaller cameras. The camera remains low, creating a natural pivot point for smooth operation with the gimbal.
