This Bright Tangerine baseplate kit is designed for RED KOMODO, DJI RS 4 & RS 3 gimbal users wanting to add the quick-release 15mm LWS baseplate with support for 15mm rods. The top stage releases the DJI RS 4 & RS 3 compatible dovetail, so you can quickly transition to gimbal mode, and the lower stage allows you to securely lock off the camera onto any ARRI standard balance plate. The whole kit combined is extremely light-weight & low profile, which keeps all of your Komodo builds, nimble and compact.

Vertical Lift Off
Feel secure with our patented Open Up quick release system, providing the confidence that your camera will remain safely and securely locked off, with no danger of it slipping or falling off.

The lever has three positions - locked, slide & release.
• When the lever is in its rearmost position, the bridgeplate locks firmly into place
• Position the lever to the midpoint, allowing you to shift your bridgeplate along the balance plate with ease
• To release the camera, press the safety eject button on the lever and adjust the lever to its forward position

Accessory Mounting
The baseplate offers a secure and sturdy foundation for mounting accessories on 15mm rods, including lens supports, focus motors, matte boxes, hand grips and more. When you pair our Drumstix rods with the bridgeplate, you'll get a combination of strength and lightweight performance that can't be beaten.

The sides feature mounting points for compatible side plates and the rear has mounting points for the LeftField 3 KASBAH Shoulder Pad.

Set the RED KOMODO & KOMODO-X to the correct height when using the LeftField 15mm LWS Baseplate & Universal DJI RS 4 & RS 3 Dovetail.

The quick release allows for fast transitions between tripod, handheld & gimbal work without needing to change plates.

This DJI RS 4 & RS 3 Riser for RED KOMODO & KOMODO-X mounts to the LeftField 15mm LWS Baseplate and sets your camera to the correct height for use with 15mm LWS rods and accessories.

Compatibility
This riser is compatible with a number of dovetails but primarily designed to pair with B4003.1040 - Universal DJI RS 4, RS 3 & RS 2 Dovetail.

It is also compatible with older DJI RS 2 & RS 3 Dovetails including B4002.1018, B4002.1019, B4003.1030, B4003.1031 & B4002.1071.

In addition to DJI RS dovetails, it is also compatible with Manfrotto 501PL standard dovetails & plates.

Unlike the stock DJI plate, the universal dovetail accommodates cameras using both 1/4" & 3/8" mounting points.

Easily balance your gimbal
When setting up your camera, position it anywhere along the dovetail for optimal weight distribution. Slide it forward for larger setups with rear mounted accessories, or slide it backwards for smaller mirrorless setups, utilizing the 144mm of travel.

This not only allows you to center the setup on the dovetail but also provides a balanced starting point when mounting it on the gimbal, minimizing the need for counterweights and reducing strain on the motors.

The dovetail also maintains ability to use the fine tuning knob on the DJI gimbals.

Wide & Flat with no extra height
The broad, flat surface of the universal dovetail ensures your camera remains stable, maximizing surface area to eliminate any flex. Rubber grips prevent twisting, even with smaller cameras.

The camera remains low, creating a natural pivot point for smooth operation with the gimbal.

With a flush front & rear, the dovetail won't collide or cause compatibility issues with PL, electronic ND & other lens adapters.

The universal RS4 dovetail seamlessly mounts onto the LeftField 15mm LWS baseplate when paired with compatible risers.

- Left Field ARRI Dovetail Plate -
The Left Field ARRI Dovetail Plate is a quick release cheese plate that is compatible with the Left Field 15mm LWS Baseplate and Sliding Top Plates.

The LeftField ARRI Dovetail Plate is a multipurpose quick release plate featuring multiple 1/4", 3/8" & ARRI Accessory Mounts.

The low profile plate is based on the ARRI standard dovetail and acts as a quick release plate for a camera setup using the LeftField 15mm LWS Baseplate making the transition going from tripod to handheld much quicker.

When used with the LeftField Sliding Top Plates, the Dovetail plate provides a mounting surface for other accessories like the carrying handle and Titan Arm quick release brackets.

Two removable safety screws prevent the plate from sliding out of the receiving accessory. These two screws can also be mounted on the right side of the plate to fix the dovetail plate into position.

The LeftField ARRI Dovetail Plate can also snap in and out by releasing the Dovetail clamp further. This is especially handy if you have other accessories mounted onto your camera setup which can obstruct the camera package from sliding on and off the plate.
