The LeftField 3 Advanced Kit for RED KOMODO and KOMODO-X provides a range of customization possibilities with 1/4", 3/8" and NATO mounting points, along with adding ARRI dovetail compatibility and 15mm LWS support for your camera.

The Advanced Kit consists of the dedicated KOMODO Side Plates, Top Plate, LeftField 3 15mm LWS Baseplate, Dovetail Plate, Manfrotto-DJI Riser and a NATO Top Handle.

The LeftField 3 Advanced Kit for RED KOMODO and RED KOMODO-X expands the possibilities of your RED rig. Providing a broad range of accessory mounting points, from Helicoil-reinforced 1/4" and 3/8" threads to NATO rails, along with our Open UP system that allows for seamless mounting to any ARRI standard dovetail.

Using our LeftField Baseplate with 15mm LWS rod support, the Advanced Kit is the best camera cage for RED KOMODO or KOMODO-X customization.

LeftField 3 System
At the core of the LeftField Advanced Kit for RED KOMODO or KOMODO-X is the Baseplate, which uses our Open UP quick-release system to conveniently mount onto any standard ARRI dovetail, even those out of tolerance. Use the simple clamp to secure your camera rig in place, and release it to quickly remove it.

15mm LWS Compatibility
Above the ARRI dovetail mount, the LeftField 3 Baseplate also features rod brackets conforming to the 15mm LWS rod standard - along with the compatible riser. The most common configuration for camera systems, this gives you added convenience for your KOMODO or KOMODO-X: allowing for more accessories to be added, such as follow-focus wheels or matte boxes.

DJI RS Mounting
The LeftField Advanced Kit is designed for use with the DJI RS 3 and RS 4 gimbal systems, with a purpose-built dovetail and riser. This means that you can smoothly transition from tripod to gimbal use with the KOMODO or KOMODO-X. No matter the shooting scenario, this kit has you covered.

Convenient Customization Options
For additional accessory options, the LeftField Advanced Kit comes with accessory mounting threads in a range of industry standards. Each 1/4" and 3/8" threaded mount is fitted with stainless steel Helicoil inserts for long-lasting performance, and you can quickly slot components to the KOMODO or KOMODO-X via NATO rails on the top and sides. There are also Quick-Detach (QD) sockets for easy mounting of straps or slings.

This Bright Tangerine baseplate kit is designed for RED KOMODO, DJI RS 4 & RS 3 gimbal users wanting to add the quick-release 15mm LWS baseplate with support for 15mm rods. The top stage releases the DJI RS 4 & RS 3 compatible dovetail, so you can quickly transition to gimbal mode, and the lower stage allows you to securely lock off the camera onto any ARRI standard balance plate. The whole kit combined is extremely light-weight & low profile, which keeps all of your Komodo builds, nimble and compact.

The Baseplate kit features our patented Open UP Quick-Release system that lets you slide, lock & vertically release the camera from any ARRI standard balance plate, or the included low profile dovetail plate.

The NATO Top Handle allows full flexibility of positioning and balancing a Top Handle on your camera rig. Mounting via a standard NATO rail, the Top Handle can travel both side-to-side and forwards-backwards using the handle clamp. The Handle is compatible with a range of accessories; offering mounting options including 1/4", 3/8", QD socket and cold shoe mounting.

Looking for versatility in your camera setup? The NATO Top Handle gives you freedom of movement for your handgrip: sliding left-to-right on a NATO rail and with an adjustable handle bracket for forward-backward movement. Once you've positioned it, lock the handle in place for sturdy shooting. For mounting additional accessories, you have a range of accessory mounting points on the handle itself: including cold shoe, QD sockets and anti-twist screw threads.

Get a Grip
The NATO Top Handle is designed to allow you optimal balance no matter your setup. Slide the handle from side-to-side on the NATO rail mount, or unlock the handle's clamp to position the handle itself relative to the mount. The handle features safety stops to prevent it from detaching completely. This also means that the handle is reversible, for even greater positioning possibilities.

Customize Without Compromise
You can also build on the NATO Top Handle - literally. The Handle is compatible with our range of Handle Extensions, allowing you to create a handle design for any shooting scenario (please note: the handle is not a total profile match, meaning that you can use the handle extensions but the NATO Top Handle itself will be shallow). In addition, the Top Handle boasts a range of 1/4" and 3/8" anti-twist screw threads - along with a cold shoe mount and quick-detach (QD) sockets.

Quick-Release Convenience
The NATO rail mount for the Top Handle also makes it easy to remove when you need it. If you need to adjust the balance, or add on an extra component, simply slide the NATO Top Handle off.

The NATO Top Handle can also be used with our range of Handle Extensions, but they do not create a profile match. Instead, the Top Handle itself will be shallow against the extensions.
