This robust top plate is engineered to mount directly onto your RED V-RAPTOR, offering a sturdy and secure surface for attaching a variety of rigging accessories, including handles and gimbal mounts. Its design ensures full clearance for the RED Monitor Interface, while the vented structure promotes optimal airflow, crucial for maintaining the cooling fans' efficiency.Constructed with precision, the top plate affixes to the camera body using four screws, requiring a 4mm Hex key for a reliable and secure connection. The integration of multiple dovetail plates allows for preconfiguration, streamlining setup changes with a swift quick-release mechanism. To ensure the utmost safety and prevent accidental releases, the plate is equipped with multiple safety features. Two safety screws act as limit stops, while a safety eject button must be engaged before the clamp can be released. For additional security, an optional dead lock can be utilized, also requiring a 4mm Hex key, to firmly secure the dovetail in place, eliminating any risk of the plate sliding or moving during operation.On the right side, the plate includes mounting points designed for compatibility with the B4002.1051 Right Side Horse Shoe, enhancing its versatility. The dovetail plate boasts reinforced mounting points with multiple 3/8" anti-twist and 1/4" threaded points, each with a hole depth of 10mm to prevent accessories from bottoming out and to maximize thread engagement. The central row is spaced to accommodate mounting plates for industry-leading stabilizers like the DJI Ronin 2 and Freefly Movi, with top handle points on each end. These threads are further strengthened with helicoil reinforcement, ensuring added durability.No compromises have been made in the creation of this high-quality accessory. Each Sliding Top Plate is machined and hand-finished in a single factory located in Church Crookham, crafted from high-grade materials and hard anodized for extended durability.
