Let the Universal Extended Movi Pro Dovetail Plate transform your photography and videography experience. This durable and robust plate is designed to securely mount your camera, providing a sturdy platform for seamless transitions between the LeftField 15mm LWS Baseplate and the Freefly Movi Pro. Constructed from high-quality black anodized aluminum, this versatile plate is compatible with a wide range of camera systems, including the Freefly Wave and Red System. It's also designed to accommodate camcorder rigs, camera cages, and other equipment that requires a reliable mounting platform. The plate's universal fit includes three camera mounting screws (two 3/8-16" & a 1/4-20"), ensuring a secure mount with no twisting or movement. The innovative design includes a channel that allows for optimal balance and weight distribution on the plate. The extra width of the plate provides added stability, eliminating any flex and making it suitable for heavy-duty use. The Universal Extended Movi Pro Dovetail Plate is also compatible with the Freefly Systems Movi Pro, allowing for direct loading onto the gimbal without the need to change camera plates. Laser-etched markers along the length of the dovetail provide a convenient way for ACs to mark down balanced positions on the gimbal. For added versatility, lens adapters can be secured using the front channel and supplied screws. The plate is also designed to mount the camera directly onto Manfrotto 501PL standard tripods and receivers. Whether you're shooting in a studio or on location, the Universal Extended Movi Pro Dovetail Plate offers the durability, versatility, and reliability you need to capture the perfect shot.

We got this because we wanted to quickly move our Komodo between rails setup and gimbal. We also needed the extended baseplate so we could secure the Metabones RF lens adapter. 

This baseplate does this specific job well, but I still find the price a bit ambitious for what it is.
