Bright Tangerine Right Side Cheeseplate for RED KOMODO-X

If you need to properly kit out your KOMODO for a job, then the RED KOMODO-X Right Side Plate is exactly what you need. Offset from the camera for maximized airflow, the Side Plate gives you a vast range of rigging options. Compatible with all camera variants, the Right Side Plate helps you make the most out of your KOMODO.

The RED KOMODO is a fairly compact camera, which is great - most of the time. On those occasions where you need a bit more rigging real estate, the RED KOMODO-X Right Side Plate is the right choice. The Side Plate adds a huge plane of accessory mounting points; including 1/4" and 3/8" anti-twist threads as well as MAP M4 points and QD sockets. Built from top-grade aluminum, the Right Side Plate ensures that you are ready for whatever the call sheet calls for.

Clean Rigging
The Right Side Plate is a large flat surface plate: giving you a range of rigging options. For standard accessories, bolt-on components to the selection of 1/4" and 3/8" screw threads - each with anti-twist locating points. For quick-release camera straps, the top of the Side Plate has a QD socket, as well as a border of MAP M4 points. For accurate focus pulling, the Right Side Plate features a film plane hook slot.

Expand the Possibilities
If you find the Right Side Plate just isn't enough, you can easily add more to create a truly massive RED rig. A Rear Cheese Plate can be fitted to the back, for extra real estate on the same plane. Alternatively, top things out with our Rear Top Plate. Both are installed with a handful of twists of a Hex Key, meaning you're only ever a few moments away from a bigger rig.

Adapter-Friendly
No matter what lens you're working with, from Angenieux to Zeiss, the Right Side Plate can accommodate a range of Lens Adapters and Supports. The front mounting points are compatible with both RED's first-party Adapter Mounts, as well as our own range of supports.

Go with the Flow
To your RED rig's airflow clean, the Right Side Plate is offset from the camera by 28mm. If your camera isn't running hot, this space can also be used to rig accessories, avoiding clutter on the outside of your camera body.
