Need some extra space for rigging? Our RED KOMODO-X Rear Cheese Plate bolts onto the back of your camera: giving you deep customization options across the board. Along with bolt-on screw threads and MAP M4 points, you can control your cable chaos with dedicated slots. Made from aerospace-grade aluminum, the Rear Cheese Plate gives you everything you need for easy rigging.

Easy Rigging
If you've fleshed out your RED rig with our Left and Right Side Plates, and still found you need camera space, the Rear Cheese Plate gives you some extra space out the back of your camera. Along with a border of 1/4" and MAP M4 points, you'll also have a 3/8" anti-twist screw thread for more secure screw-in accessories. If you're feeding cables or transmitters, the Rear Cheese Plate has extra slots for cable management and non-standard accessories.

The Rear Cheese Plate is made from our signature aerospace-grade aluminum: resistant to all the wear-and-tear or corrosion that even the most chaotic of call sheets can throw at it. Despite its strength, the Side Plate is light enough to barely be noticed on your rig, whether it's directly on your shoulder or balanced on a gimbal.
