Quick-Release Convenience
Though the LeftField Mini is more compact than LeftField 3 Baseplates, it still features our popular Open UP system for quick-release convenience. This allows you to seamlessly attach the LeftField Mini Baseplate onto any standard ARRI dovetail in moments. When in place, use the lever on the side to transition between locked, sliding and unlocked on the dovetail.

15mm LWS Standard
The LeftField Mini Baseplate has two independently-locking 15mm rod brackets, set to the industry-standard 15mm LWS configuration. For attaching your camera, captive 1/4" and 3/8" screws attach to compatible cameras - and can slide to optimize balance. Rubber inlays on the top provide extra grip on the camera base, to prevent twisting.

At 60% of the length of the standard LeftField 3 Baseplate, the LeftField Mini 15mm LWS Baseplate is a compact baseplate for smaller cameras. The LeftField Mini offers a compact alternative to full-size LeftField 3 Baseplates, using our Open UP system for convenient quick-release. The LeftField Mini Baseplate is near-universally compatible when paired with a compatible Riser.

As cameras get smaller, so do their baseplates. With the LeftField Mini 15mm LWS Baseplate, you can downsize your setup whilst still maintaining our ultra-convenient Open UP quick-release system. At 60mm in length - compared to the standard LeftField 3's 100mm - the LeftField Mini Baseplate is ideal for compact rigs, and can be fitted with a huge range of Risers for different camera systems. With the option to expand the Baseplate with accessories such as our KASBAH Shoulder Pad or a Rear Rod Bracket, the LeftField Mini is our best baseplate for compact cameras.

15mm LWS Standard
The LeftField Mini Baseplate has two independently-locking 15mm rod brackets, set to the industry-standard 15mm LWS configuration. Paired with our range of Risers for LeftField Mini, you can set your camera to the correct height for mounting matte boxes, follow-focus motors and much more. There are two different planes for mounting Risers, an upper and a lower, which help mount taller or shorter cameras.

Downsized Design
At just 60mm (2.36") long, the LeftField Mini Baseplate is ultra-compact, making it ideal for small or low-profile camera setups. It can be expanded on if the situation requires it: the Baseplate features an array of MAP M4 points on the sides and can be fitted with an optional Rear Rod Bracket, to help add extra functionality when shooting.

Safety Stop Storage
We've designed the LeftField Mini to be as compatible as possible: with removeable dovetail safety stops that can be conveniently stored inside the Baseplate. The LeftField Mini Baseplate also engages with built-in safety stops on ARRI dovetails, meaning that your camera will never move unless you need it to.

KASBAH Compatibility
The rear of the LeftField Mini Baseplate also has a dedicated slot for the KASBAH Shoulder Pad, which allows you to create a compact shoulder rig. Simply attach the dedicated wedge through the screw slots provided and you can use the comfortable and convenient shoulder mount.

- LeftField Mini 54mm Standard Riser -
The LeftField Mini Standard Riser helps set certain cameras to the 15mm LWS height standard on the LeftField Mini baseplate. Cleanly mounting to the LeftField Mini, this Riser is designed for cameras with an optical center height of 54mm such as the RED V-RAPTOR. Quickly installed to the baseplate via four M4 screws, the Riser features captive 1/4" and 3/8" screws that can be repositioned to fit different camera bodies.

Take your rig to new heights with our range of LeftField Mini standard Risers, which elevate different cameras to the 15mm LWS standard height. This model adds 31mm of height: making it suitable RED V-RAPTOR cameras, setting the optical centers to the correct height. Made from our signature high-grade aluminum, the Riser mounts cleanly to the LeftField Mini baseplate via M4 screws - and features sliding 1/4" and 3/8" screws for different camera bases.

Ready for Rigging
Paired with the LeftField Mini Baseplate, the Riser sets your camera system to the 15mm LWS height standard: expanding the options for attaching follow-focus wheels, matte boxes and more. For shorter cameras, such as the Blackmagic URSA Cine, the 54mm Riser is the perfect choice for added elevation.
