This kit features the innovative Open-UP Quick Release system, a patented technology that ensures a secure mount to any ARRI Standard dovetail, even those slightly out of tolerance. This unique system allows for swift transitions between different camera setups, such as moving from tripod to handheld shooting, using the Left Field ARRI Dovetail Plate or any standard ARRI dovetail.The baseplate of this advanced kit is engineered with front and rear rod locks, accommodating 15mm LWS industry-standard rods. This dual-lock design enables the use of two short sets of rods to form a longer support, simplifying transportation and packing. The Sliding Top Plate is another key feature, equipped with an ARRI dovetail standard clamp. This clamp facilitates a quick release for the Left Field ARRI Dovetail Plate, providing a platform to mount the top carrying handle or other accessories. These can be swiftly attached to the top plate and adjusted for optimal balance, enhancing the overall usability of the Sony VENICE camera.Additionally, the kit includes a 15mm LWS rod bracket mounted to the top plate.
