The LeftField System for the Sony VENICE 2 has been built to reliably deliver time after time. The cage provides an extremely rigid frame for rigging with helicoil reinforced mounting points, rosettes for handles & 15mm rod support for EVFs and focus motors.

Time on set is critical, each part of the system has been designed for rapid changes in a safe manner with interchangeable dovetails that can be preconfigured.

Reliability is a key factor for large productions. Multiple safety mechanisms have been integrated removing any chance of failure & accidents on set.

Add a riser for your compatible camera and securely lock onto any ARRI standard balance plate or dovetail.

With support for 15mm rod support, you can outfit your camera for any cinematic challenge.

Vertical Lift Off
Feel secure with our patented Open Up quick release system, providing the confidence that your camera will remain safely and securely locked off, with no danger of it slipping or falling off.

The lever has three positions - locked, slide & release
• When the lever is in its rearmost position, the bridgeplate locks firmly into place
• Position the lever to the midpoint, allowing you to shift your bridgeplate along the balance plate with ease
• To release the camera, press the safety eject button on the lever and adjust the lever to its forward position

Accessory Mounting
The baseplate offers a secure and sturdy foundation for mounting accessories on 15mm rods, including lens supports, focus motors, matte boxes, hand grips and more. When you pair our Drumstix rods with the bridgeplate, you'll get a combination of strength and lightweight performance that can't be beaten.

The sides feature mounting points for compatible side plates and the rear has mounting points for the LeftField 3 KASBAH Shoulder Pad.

- Split Riser -
This riser comprises of two parts and sets the Sony VENICE 1 & 2 to 15mm LWS standards when combined with B4003.1034 15mm LWS Baseplate.

The split design allows the cage to quickly detach from the baseplate, creating a low profile design for easier balancing on gimbals & steadicam without complete disassembly.

This riser is a two-part design consisting of the upper & riser plates. It combines with B4003.1034 15mm LWS Baseplate Core.

The upper plate attaches directly to the bottom of the camera and the riser plate mounts to the baseplate core. The camera with the upper plate can then be secured to the baseplate. The fore/aft positioning of the camera can be adjusted for optimal balance before engaging the locating pins to ensure proper alignment.

Gimbal Ready
For gimbal & steadicam work, the camera can be quickly detached from the baseplate providing a low profile form factor, ready to be connected to dovetails and other quick release plates with a stable 75mm wide base By removing the baseplate, it lowers the center of gravity and reduces the overall weight of the build.

The upper plate also provides mounting points for B4004.1021 & B4004.1022 Side Plates. Combined with B4004 1020 Sliding Top Plate, they form a rigid cage around the camera.

- Sliding Top Plate -
The Top Plate for Sony VENICE 1 & 2 provides a sliding, quick-release platform for interchangeable dovetails, providing multiple support & accessory mounting options. Pre-configured dovetails can be set up for top handles, gimbal mounts & more.

The front features 15mm LWS rod support for EVFs & lens motors.

This Top Plate is designed for the Sony VENICE 1 & 2 and provides a sliding, quick-release platform for interchangeable dovetails. The dovetails can slide fore/aft for optimal balance.

Additional dovetails (B4002.1070) can be pre-configured with top handles, gimbal top mounts & more, speeding up setup changes.

Safe & Reliable
The top plate features multiple safety mechanisms for added peace of mind. The dovetails are secured in place using a 4mm hex key, removing any levers which could get knocked while filming. A dead lock screw can also be engaged, fixing the dovetail in place for a completely rigid top plate.

To remove the dovetail, the orange safety must be pressed before the clamp can be opened allowing for the dovetail to be removed. The ARRI standard clamp can also be used for underslung setups using the dovetail or balance plates.

Accessory Mounting
The top plate also features multiple 1/4"-20 and anti-twist 3/8"-16 threads for accessories, with fixing points for the side plates on each side.

The vertical position of the front 15mm LWS rod support can be adjusted to 15mm LWS or low mode for use with EVF mounts & lens motors.

- Carrying Top Handle -
Add a convenient carrying top handle to your camera rig, mounted by 1/4"-20 screws. Add a Carrying Handle to your camera cage for easy handling during operation and transport. Attaching to any flat surface with 1/4"-20 threads, the carrying handle can be mounted to the top of the camera cage or cheese plate like the Left Field ARRI Dovetail Plate.

Additional accessories can be mounted to the carrying handle with multiple 1/4", 3/8" & ARRI 3/8" Accessory mounts available. The vertical post can be positioned in a number of positions along the horizontal bar for optimum balance and can also be rotated 180-degrees if required. The handle is also compatible with the ARRI HEB-System to create a longer handling surface.

• Compatible with ARRI HEB-System (HEB-1, HEB-2 & HEB-3) for extending handle
• Vertical post can be positioned in multiple positions on the horizontal bar to for maximum stability
• Horizontal bar can be rotated 180-degrees to achieve optimal balance

- LeftField Dovetail Plate -
The Left Field ARRI Dovetail Plate is a quick release cheese plate that is compatible with the Left Field 15mm LWS Baseplate and Sliding Top Plates.

The LeftField ARRI Dovetail Plate is a multipurpose quick release plate featuring multiple 1/4", 3/8" & ARRI Accessory Mounts.

The low profile plate is based on the ARRI standard dovetail and acts as a quick release plate for a camera setup using the LeftField 15mm LWS Baseplate making the transition going from tripod to handheld much quicker.

When used with the LeftField Sliding Top Plates, the Dovetail plate provides a mounting surface for other accessories like the carrying handle and Titan Arm quick release brackets.
