The Advanced Kit for the Sony VENICE Extension System Mini gives you everything you need for cinematic shooting. Featuring a range of accessory mounting points - including 1/4" & 3/8" screw threads along with QD sockets, MAP M4 points and 15mm rod brackets. Featuring our LeftField Mini 15mm LWS Baseplate, the Advanced Kit is the perfect choice to enhance your setup.

Minimum Size, Maximum Freedom
Despite being 60% of the size, the LeftField Mini Baseplate compromises on none of the functionality. It features our Open UP system, which makes it more convenient than ever to mount your rig to ARRI-standard dovetails (plus, the Advanced Kit features an 8" Create Dovetail for you to mount). Pair with the included Riser to set your VENICE Extension to the 15mm LWS standard height.

Ready for Rigging
With the Advanced Kit, you can customize your VENICE Extension System Mini with a huge range of options: from standard-issue 1/4" and 3/8" threads along the Top, Rear and Side Plates; to more specialist options such as QD sockets on the Top Handle. The Advanced Kit also features 15mm rod brackets both as part of the LeftField Mini Baseplate and with the included Top Bar Bracket.

Full Functionality
The Advanced Kit allows you to customize without compromise: forming a wraparound cage around the VENICE Extension without interfering with the stock camera extension's features. The Advanced Kit maintains full access to the drop-in ND filter slot and vents, ensuring full control over exposure and airflow.

Handle with Ease
The Sliding Top Handle is a versatile and essential component in the Advanced Kit. It is fully adjustable to be forwards or backwards-facing. The Top Handle also features the mount for the Top Bar Bracket, and can be customized to different shapes and sizes with our range of Master Handle Extensions.

Don't mistake their lightness for weakness, however: our aluminum is aerospace-grade for long-lasting performance. All components are resistant to corrosion and to withstand the usual wear-and-tear - they'll be just as sturdy on the twentieth take as the first.

With an array of mounting possibilities including standard 1/4" and 3/8" screw threads as well as MAP M4, QD sockets and 15mm support rods; the Base Kit offers freedom and functionality in a lightweight package.

In-Depth Customization
The Base Kit for Sony VENICE Extension System Mini offers a range of accessory mounting options, giving you the freedom to set up your camera extension however you need. The Top, Rear and Side Plates feature an array of 1/4", 3/8" and MAP M4 sockets; with locating pins to ensure a secure hold for larger accessories. Combine this with the Sliding Top Handle, which offers additional support via QD sockets and a Cold Shoe mount.

Handle with Ease
The Sliding Top Handle included in the Base Kit is ideal for both carrying the VENICE Extension and for shooting handheld footage. Mounted to the Top Plate via two 1/4"-20 screws, the handle itself can slide forwards and backwards for optimal balance. Combine it with our Handle Extensions to create a custom Top Handle for any shooting scenario.

15mm Rod Support
The Top Bar Bracket adds even more functionality to your VENICE Extension System Mini, with two 15mm rod brackets. Attaching to the base of the Top Handle, the Bar Bracket is useful for mounting EVFs, lens motors and other accessories; and can be flipped to place the rods higher or lower above your lenses.

Compact and Convenient
Despite the vast range of customization that the Base Kit offers, your setup remains slim and streamlined. Each of the plates adds just over a centimeter of thickness to the camera body, and adds minimal weight thanks to their anodized aluminum build. Core VENICE components, such as the drop-in ND filter slots and side vents, are kept clear for smooth operation.

- 73mm LeftField Mini Standard Riser -
The LeftField Mini Standard Riser helps set certain cameras to the 15mm LWS height standard on the LeftField Mini baseplate. Cleanly mounting to the LeftField Mini, this Riser is designed for cameras with an optical center height of 73mm such as the Sony FX6, VENICE or BURANO - among others.

Quickly installed to the baseplate via four M4 screws, the Riser features captive 1/4" and 3/8" screws that can be repositioned to fit different camera bodies.

Take your rig to new heights with our range of LeftField Mini standard Risers, which elevate different cameras to the 15mm LWS standard height. This model adds 12mm of height: making it suitable for cameras including the Sony FX6 and Blackmagic URSA Cine to set their optical centers to the correct height. Made from our signature high-grade aluminum, the Riser mounts cleanly to the LeftField Mini baseplate via M4 screws - and features sliding 1/4" and 3/8" screws for different camera bases.

At 60% of the length of the standard LeftField 3 Baseplate, the LeftField Mini 15mm LWS Baseplate is a compact baseplate for smaller cameras. The LeftField Mini offers a compact alternative to full-size LeftField 3 Baseplates, using our Open UP system for convenient quick-release. The LeftField Mini Baseplate is near-universally compatible when paired with a compatible Riser.

As cameras get smaller, so do their baseplates. With the LeftField Mini 15mm LWS Baseplate, you can downsize your setup whilst still maintaining our ultra-convenient Open UP quick-release system. At 60mm in length - compared to the standard LeftField 3's 100mm - the LeftField Mini Baseplate is ideal for compact rigs, and can be fitted with a huge range of Risers for different camera systems.

With the option to expand the Baseplate with accessories such as our KASBAH Shoulder Pad or a Rear Rod Bracket, the LeftField Mini is our best baseplate for compact cameras.

Quick-Release Convenience
Though the LeftField Mini is more compact than LeftField 3 Baseplates, it still features our popular Open UP system for quick-release convenience. This allows you to seamlessly attach the LeftField Mini Baseplate onto any standard ARRI dovetail in moments. When in place, use the lever on the side to transition between locked, sliding and unlocked on the dovetail.
